I'm interested in CD's that really help to draw a person into a worshipful experience. Got any favorites to suggest? Iv'e got some Chris Tomlinson already, plus some others, but I'd like a better collection. Thanks.

I like all of Casting Crowns' CDs. "Worship" by Michael W. Smith is great. Chris Tomlin has some great stuff. If I were you, I'd listen to K-Love's online radio station and you might find some good stuff because they are a Contemporary Christian station.

the Vineyard worship music has quite a collection of invitational worship songs that draw one into a deeper place of intimacy with all aspects of God. (Father, Son, & Holy Spirit) Also there is a husband and wife duet set of 'heavenly worship music'. their names are Kimberly and Alberto Rivera. Their music is truely inspired by angels, you can almost feel as though you are being drawn into the kingdom of God as you listen. You might be able to find them on line. One of my favorite cd's in their collection is "Draw Near". Be blessed and enjoy!

I find modern christian music disrespectful. We arent suppose to take the lords name in vain and imo that is what these songs do. Even if you are using his name in the songs to praise him, the rock type style music with that over use of the name of God just doesnt show a level of respect I think should be associated with worshipping him. I think the same way about bumper stickers that misuse the lords name.
If Jesus were to come to your house, would you really turn on christian rock or maybe have some light piano or classical music on in the background?
