I believe that its merely your subconcious moving the piece (as demonstrated by Derren Brown).. Or else why would spirits require a Ouiji Board to show you that they are there? Why not just move your glass when you're sitting at the table eating your tea?

Subconsious. Does anyone really believe a mass produced board game can communicate with the dead? Spirits do not exist.

A simple OuiJa board can be made with slips of paper with letters on them and numbers if you wish, as well a two slips that say Yes and No. Arrange them in a circle on a smooth surface. Place an upside down glass in the middle of the circle and have those who wish to participate place a forefinger on the edge of the glasses bottom. Ask a question.

Remember, the glass and the slips have no power. Your hidden thoughts, needs, and sometimes devinations will start the glass moving for good or evil.

The Ouija boards, like the pendulum, and the planchette, are amplifiers of talent already within the operator. If you try too hard or you have no natural talent, it is normal for the board to remain quiescent or make only foolish moves.

There are none of the evil things many Christians say will cause you harm, for all of these phenomena only exist in the minds of Christians who thrive on fear in others and themselves.

That,s how I feel about them as well. If a person believes anything strongly enough the mind will let them see what it is they want to believe but as far as Ouija boards and Tarot cards and other nonsense of that type I think it is all in the persons mind or a hoax perpetrated by someone claiming to have mystical powers for the sake of fortune and or fame.

The subconscience idea.
I have only seen paranormal stuff on tv happen so I'm not convinced talking to the dead through such things is real. Meaning unless I see a ghost do something in front of me I don't believe such things exist. I also don't believe in unbelievable stories people tell the only convincing folks who say they talk to ghosts tend to have really settle storys to tell.

Ouiji Boards are games... as indicated by their being on the most part a product of Milton Bradly.

When it comes down to it however sometimes it is possible to channel something and use a tool to allow it to present itself. However it is just that, a tool, and when it comes down to it if something wanted to contact this plane of existence, it wouldn't need something that was packaged in a box and sold in the store to do it.

They are evil. They open up a portal humans don't understand how to close at times. No one should use a Ouija board because they just let the evil into the world. I advise anyone who has a fascination with them to stay away before its too late.
