Does he spare everyone and make Noah look like a lunatic, or does he kill everyone just for the hell of it?

I know I am going to take a lot of punches for this but I've heard that the Roman Catholic Church is the richest organization in the world. Is this true? If so why don't they give all that money to the needy and I'm not talking about the homeless, I'm talking about things like starving children in Africa. I recently saw the bishops home in Grosse Pt. Michigan. The Fuking thing looks like Buckingham Palace and it's for one person that was aperantly absent the day they covered the page in the above formentioned quote by Jeuses. I am a Catholic and a religious person but I dispise the greed that is the hidden agenda in the Church. Hidden agenda: Extort 10% of members income so we can live like fat cats.
What is your opinion, I am courious to know?

I just want to see the motive here.

logically, it makes no sense. if there is no god, then why does it matter whether people believe in god(s) or not? i understand a healthy argument on some aspects of religion... but atheist evangelism? why?

Hello.
I am a high school student and I am going to be 16 in October.
I was wondering if I was old enough to volunteer at a hospital and if you have ever done that, what type of things will they make me wear. I am interested in the medical field when I am older and wanted to volunteer at a local hospital to make my resume really good and I like to help out people!

I live in New Jersey and wanted to volunteer at Palisades General Hospital, if you know any information about volunteering in this hospital like what things do they do, whats the uniform, etc, please post NOW!

Thank You!

Agree/disagree: Atheists can’t possibly be saying anything that’s true, because they are saying it forcefully and I feel offended by their tone. ?

There is a huge difference between God himself and all of the crazy people who are doing things supposedly in God's name. The people who get up there and say that God hates homosexuals haven't read their Bible close enough - He loves everyone, and if Jesus Christ were on the earth today - he'd eat and drink with you just the same. Many people have used religion to persecute so many groups of people over the centuries. Like the Jews in World War Two, etc. but that doesn't mean God Himself hates Gays - he doesn't. He hates Sin - but he hates ALL SIN. I don't think he goes and says this is a worse sin than that one. God Himself - loves Gay people very much - and anyone who says differently is misguided. But I want to caution you against hating all Christians just because of what people have done to you. In high school people accused me of being gay and did hate against me too - so I understand to a small degree that you have suffered by the hands of these people.(continued)

Yes. For example, Easter, which is a pagan holiday / festival of fertility, appears one time in the KJV:

Acts 12:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

The manuscript say “Passover”, not “Easter”. Does this matter? Yes, because God hates man messing with His Word:

What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it. Deuteronomy 12:32

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. Deuteronomy 4:2

Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Any other mistranslations in the King James?

Is this ridiculous to anyone else? I have many black friends, not one of them has even been to Africa. Nor can they tell you of any family history they have in Africa. If you are born and raised in this country, regardless of race, you are AMERICAN!

A major one is that most stores won't sell alcohol on sundays, or they won't sell it until after 1pm. Why is this still going on? Is this an example of our country favoring one religion over other beliefs, and forcing us to live by those beliefs? I don't know about you guys, but I don't think it's right to restrict everyone for the views of some.

What do you guys think? How does it make you feel when one religion forces you to live by their beliefs?
