do to still get our daughter baptised in the Catholic Church?

was not the rich man in a place of torment? why would the rich man suggest that the dead go back to earth and warn his 5 brothers of such horrible torment? wasnt the rich man dead himself? how was he able to talk to the heavens?

EVERYONE please please give Jack B. a BIG hug!!

He needs it - the poor boy has been suffering with a bad cold for over a week now and not getting any better - the doctors won't do anything - and poor Jack must suffer......

Spiritually speaking
If you pray - can you please say a prayer for Jack??
If you don't pray - can you simply give a big hug and encouraging word?

Specifically, if you challenge someone's faith and they lose their faith through your questioning then become depressed because they feel the meaning has gone from their life, or become a 'bad person' as the thought of a god watching over them was all that kept them from harming others.

I am not suggesting atheists have no morals or are unhappy or have no meaning to their lives (I am an atheist).

It is just that if you have lived your whole life with faith and that suddenly crumbles there is risk at least of depression etc.

I am also assuming that in challenging them you are not knowingly lying to them, just questioning their logic to the point that they might begin to doubt the existence of their god.

Have you heard about this? In the Old Testament, in the original Hebrew it refers to God in some parts as Elohim. The thing is, that is plural.

Do you think this is refering to the Trinity?

I believe this is evidence of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. They are all seperate, but one.

We should cherish others, not self cherish. Nor cherish only are family and friends. If we are self cherishing or grasping does that mean we are unaware of our own faults, or does it mean that we are blind to see the positive qualities of all others?

Does strong attachment encourage self cherishing or is strong attachment self cherishing in itself?
