Why or why not?

If so, then what if one worked hard and/or overcame something to accomplish their accomplishment(s)?

No. You should be proud of what you do. Just not a braggart about it.

Delighting in one's accomplishments is not a sin. There is nothing wrong with having pride in a job well-done or an accomplishment that one worked hard to achieve. The sin comes when someone's pride in a job well done becomes pride in one's self and an arrogance about the accomplishment. If someone worked hard to accomplish something or overcome something, they should feel no guilt over taking pride in that and feeling good about it. As long as they don't allow their ego to become inflated as a result of what was accomplished and are not holding themselves higher than someone else as a result of what was accomplished, then they should be fine.

I don't think so much that 'delighting' in ones accomplishments is the issue - rather giving praise the Righteous one who allowed you to make the accomplishments in HIM , and then to know that whatever you do - it is as unto the Lord. Who are you going to serve afterwards? Who is to be helped? Where are the rewards? And how is the kingdom of God going to be lifted in these accomplishments?

Of course it's not sinful. It's a great feeling to have pride in something accomplished, especially if it was hard won. Relax, and bask in the sunshine of your success!

I do not believe so. I someone said that it is prideful. Why? For what reason? Now if we did not acheive that thing, not only would be be upset, but we would be reprimanded not just by ourselves but the Holy Spirit. We are conquerers through Christ jesus who strengthens us. Now he gave you the ablity to accomplish that thing, so I would be mindful to say thank you Lord for allowing me to accomplish this task. Can pat yourself on the back but don't forget about the one who allowed you to accomplish that thing..it is he who has made us and not we ourselves....

Of course it isn't a 'sin.' You should delight in your accomplishments, you should think well of yourself, you should harbor self-esteem and self-respect. Those who think otherwise have never accomplished much or worked hard or 'overcome something to accomplish' something of value. If this is you that has taken such a giant step forward, please accept my congratulations!

It depends upon how the accomplishment is viewed and attained.

You just have to apologize to Jesus and promise not to accomplish anything ever again. Pride is a sin! Repent!

It's not sinful if you recognize it as being done through the glory of God.
"To God go the glory for all the great things He hath done!"
I accomplish anything, I say, "Thank you, Jesus, for helping me get this done!" If I fail, "Help me, Jesus, to try harder next time!"

Only if you put yourself and your accomplishments before God. In all things give Him the praise and glory, and he will bless your efforts and your work.
