Why do people respond to these posted questions?

What do you benefit from answering questions people ask in such depth and detail? Is there nothing better to do?

Not every one has the gift of Understanding . If one answer a question because the asker by curiosity needs to know,then a good answer helps. By nature Humans like to help.
