Every time a famous person gets killed, the conspiracy mongers come scuttling out of the woodwork. I think the reason for it is that they have some warped idea that this will not only give them their fifteen minutes of fame, but that somehow they might even be able to squeeze themselves into the history books. Some people have been known to murder a famous person for exactly that reason, so that they, themselves, will be forever linked to that famous person. Others do it simply by coming up with wild wacky theories of mystery and intrigue when it was just a very simple straightforward accidental death.
Dodi al Fayed's father has had a long running beef with British Authorities. When he first came to England and bought the very famous Harrod's Department Store (always known as the Queen's store because she shopped there), they felt they had some reason to put him on their surveillance list. Plus, he badly wanted to fit into British High Society, but they were suspicious of him and he always resented it. When he found that his son, Dodi, and Princess Diana were "getting close" together, he saw it as being his chance to shine at last, and stick it to British Authorities and all those he believed had rejected him socially. When the two died in that accident, it kind of pulled that carpet right out from under his feet, and most probably this is why he has relentlessly been trying to keep this "murder conspiracy" nonsense going. Hopefully, now this tenth anniversary memorial thing is over, everything will die down and the whole matter will finally be laid to rest along with these two who died so unfortunately, but no differently than how dozens of ordinary people die every day.......in just another car wreck.

Diana was not the "angel" people thought she was.
She was with other men while still married. She should
not have been where she was the night she died. The
driver was drunk and driving much too fast (as many
other people do to this day) and he lost control of the
car she and her boyfriend were riding in. Perhaps she
should have been home with her growing boys.

her driver was drunk and speeding thru Paris not a murder but it was a very preventable tragedy if her and her boyfriend were at all prudent in picking their limo driver or checking his condition. It has been rehashed for ten years people should get a life and let Diana rest in peace.

In truth, at first, I thought it was a plot to "get rid of her", but after hearing and reading several reliable views from sound, articulate people, I think it was just a horrible, untimely death due to an automobile accident. She was such a treasure to lose in such a devastating manner.

There's a lot of mystery and speculation surrounding Diana's tragic death. I'm wondering if we'll ever have the answer to whether it was an accident or foul play, and if so, who was behind it all?

I think that it was a terrible accident, that was not intentional at all. I think diana happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. . . but that wasnt HER fault it wasnt anybodys fault!! I understand that the driver in the other vehicle was happened to be reckless right at the blow.

It was an accident but I'm so sad she's dead. She was never meant to die. Think about how her boys feel right now all grown up without their mother.
