Ephesians chapter 2:7 reads "in order that in the coming ages He (God the Father) might show the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to us in Jesus Christ."
So we see here a reference to future ages.
Scripture tells us the current evil age under the domination of Satan is coming to a close and will be followed by an age of peace and prosperity under the benevolent rule of Jesus Christ, ruling from the city of Jerusalem over the whole earth, together with His resurrected saints. At the end of the age Satan again leads a rebellion against the people of God and is overthrown and cast forever into the Lake of Fire. Some time thereafter comes the resurrection of the unrighteous dead, who are judged according to their works and also thrown into the Lake of Fire; but the righteous will inherit a completely recreated heavens and earth, eternal and free from all evil and corruption.
Read the last four chapters of the Book of Revelation.

You need a handle on physics when you are talking about death and the afterlife. First, when you die, you pass from the boundaries of space-time into timelessness. When Adam died, he did not "sleep" as we understand sleep. The moment Adam died he entered timeless eternity. The next moment, the entire of earth's history has played out and the judgment has begun.
Sleep is sort of like that. When you sleep, time seems to pass by in a moment. Ever gone a night without sleep? It is like the night lasts forever. In the eternal, time has no hold and no limitation. As we live in these bodies, time drags on. But upon our death, click, the world's scenario has already played out. What happens after the judgment depends on what you decide in the here and now.

No, nothing happens after you die.... the bacteria that helped you digest your food, now digests you. What death is like is what you remember before you were born. Nothing.

You can't possibly believe that on this tiny grain of sand, in an area the size of Colorado, and 6.5 billion others on this little planet with you, that any of your selfish little prayers mean anything at all--- you don't REALLY believe that there is a sky daddy up there."making a list and checking it twice..."... if so, if the prayers of 11 million were unheard during the Holocaust, what is your puny little wish worth????

Interestingly, two weeks ago, even Mother Theresa's letters proved that she as well thought it all a bunch of crap (not worded that way, of course, but she shared how dark her religious belief was...) Now if Mother Theresa didn't believe, why should you????

No, not with heaven if you count it as nirvana, but with hell, yes (I'm counting being reincarnated as a dung beetle as hell here). After you are reincarnated once, you die and go through it again. Heaven and hell are just other words for a positive or negative reincarnations (dung beetle vs. better life than now). It goes on and on until your karma is paid off and you merge with God/the Universe/Nature and you end up in absolute heaven and thats where it ends.

the afterlife is what you want it to be: it can be temporary or eternal. new souls are created daily, but old ones are also reused daily. when i die, i will live an eternal afterlife since i've done this many times before and i'm choosing this to be my last life.
the answer to your question kind sir, is yes there is a post-afterlife which is simply rebirth. however, we are not forced to serve another lifetime.

Heaven and Hell go on forever. God is stuck with Hell full of a hundred billion screaming souls, and no way to get rid of it.

Cause he said they would suffer eternal agony, and going back on his word is something he won't do or the devil will be laughing at him.

God is in a bind. He hates the sound of a hundred billion tormented souls and there's nothing he can do about it.

According to the Word of God - a new heaven and a new earth shall come to pass. And the rejoicing of the saints will be forever in heaven where we will continually praise the Lord.

it depends on what you believe.
but as you are talking about heaven and hell I think most people will say no. 'cause hell and heaven are supposed to be eternal.
eternal meaning no ending.

There is no evidence that anything of an individual survives death, much less any proof of an afterlife.

This is totally up to GOD, no human knows.
I can see souls in hell hoping for anything but being in hell for eternity; not so much the souls in heaven: they can stay there for eternity happily.
