Make your favorite colors the theme of your party. For example, decorate the cake, streamers, balloons, party favors, other decorations all in pink and green. Before you have the cookout, play games, such as charades, word games or guessing games, and give out small prizes. After eating, there will be socializing and people will just hang out and have a good time. Good luck, and happy birthday! Oh, and don't forget to open your gifts:)

First of all, happy birthday.

Since you love pink and green, serve pink and green cake, punch, cupcakes, M & Ms, stuff like that, and of course make sure the plates and utensils are pink and green.

As far as stuff to do, the possibilities are endless and really depend on your interests. Since you're having a cookout, I was thinking about putting up a volleyball or badminton net and playing other kinds of outdoor games/sports. It's really up to you.

You didn't say if this was an all-girl party or not, but if there are going to be lots of girls maybe you can set up something inside for the people who aren't into sports, like board games or a card game. Again, the possbilities are endless.

It would be fun to have a board of pictures of you through the years on it, and you could pick one funny picture and ask people to write a caption for it, and then have a neutral person (like your mother) vote for the best one, and then give that person a prize.

Another hysterically fun thing is to have people draw from a hat for the door prize, and then whoever wins gets a door -- literally. Like an old cupboard door or something. After everyone stops laughing, then give him/her something normal.

I wouldn't worry and stress too much because everyone loves a party with free food and good company.
