1. Jesus is NOT God. He is a child of God like we all are.
2. The Bible is not the word and teachings of Jesus. Jesus taught simple truths that the soul leaves the body at death and goes into the spirit world. Paganism could never have told the truth about Jesus because his teachings had no need for a church. Religion is based on fear and control.
3. Jesus nor God are not evil. You have free will and will have to judge yourself when you go to spirit. You can not offend God. God is not out to punish people. God nor Jesus want worship, they are not egomaniacs. They do not care about stupid rituals and God does not play favourites, the spirit world is for every man on earth not just the exclusive rights of Christians. There is no devil or fires of hell.
If I was you the best thing you can do is ignore the Bible and have a personal relationship with Jesus and God. Think of them as being full of love and good instead of what the bible teachers of them being controlling, vengeful egotistical monsters who play favourites and are to be feared.

But His word isn't wrong.
If you say it was wrong, you didn't believe it.
Your faith is not in Him and His word, but in your own understanding.
"If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does."
James 1:5-8

1 Corinthians 15:12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14 And if Christ be not risen, then [is] our preaching vain, and your faith [is] also vain.
15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith [is] vain; ye are yet in your sins.
1 Corinthians 15:18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
1 Corinthians 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

God's word is true, so why play the what if game?
I don't like what ifs, they are seldom constructive, and only allows one to doubt in themself. So I prerer to deal with reality.

Calling Him "evil" means you haven't, you didn't, and you are still wrong. You can wait until judgment to find out, or you can do something about it now.
