Many of them died without renouncing their faiths. Why would they do such a thing?

You want me to prove it? Try doing the research yourself, its there. Why do you atheists keep screaming "GIVE US PROOFS" when biblical and secular scholars who are way smarter than you have already did it.

I agree that many people are willing to die and have died for their beliefs. But you're missing the point that I am trying to make. The point is that they believed Jesus lived again to be true because they have seen it. The Islamic terrorists believe in their faith is true based on their interpretation of the Koran. Hitler believe his action is true based on his ideology.

Btw, nowhere in my question did I say that the Apostles actions prove that God exists. Do not use strawman arguments here, this is not the place.

If the force was not with young Luke Skywalker, why did he venture forth to the distant end of the galaxy to do battle with his father?

I had the privileged of meeting two Congressional Medal of Honor recipients when I was in the Corps. After hearing what injuries they sustained, I do think it's possible that Jesus rose from the grave after sustaining a crucifixion. The part of the story I don't believe is that he ascended into heaven. There's a reason those types of miracles happened before modern science, cameras, DNA, etc.

I am sure they existed. And many of them were killed for what they believed in. But does dying for what you believe in prove that what you are dying for is true?
This is whay you are trying to say;
THe apostles died for what they believed in therefore we know that Christianity is true.
Let's use that same logic for other groups of people.
Nazis died for what they believed in therefore we know that Nazism is true.
Islamic terrorists have died in their struggle against the west. Therefore Islam is true.
The point is this, bad logic doesn't prove anything. (Are you studying "Understanding the Times"?) People who believe desperately in something are often willing to die for it. This holds true across religion and creed.
Oops, freebird said the same thing.

Using your logic, the suicide bombers now dying are right because they die for their faith.
Using your logic, Hitler was right because he died believing his cause.
Using your logic, the suicide/murders committed by reverend Jones were right because they died believing their cause.
Many have died for their beliefs. While such deaths justify their commitment, that's all they do. Their deaths don't validate the truthfulness of their cause.

If Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. - 1 Cor. 15
Prove they lived - The Bible is a Testament.
Prove they died - Read the following account.

They were giving glad tidings of a final Prophet who was to come from Arabia.
Many Jewish tribes moved to Arabia to await his arrival.
When he arrived and they say he was of the lineage of the Ishmaelites ...... they denied him like so many Prophets before him.

If they really existed, it's not that surprising. Look at what cults still do today - mass suicide etc.
