My personal sense of significance comes from the fact that God has justified me, cleansed me from sin and adopted me into His family solely on account of His Son and His redemptive work on the cross. Nothing more and nothing less.
The Good News is that it is available to ALL who receive Him, regardless of how significant or insignificant you may feel.

Man is an adventurer and wanderer by nature. Taking the total history of man on Earth, at first Adam's sons spread from the Tigris, Euphrates area to other parts of the world. Christopher Columbus discovered the West Indies and put away the fear of crossing the Atlantic Ocean. Today, we are in the Space Age, and would like to cross the ocean of space between Earth and Mars. If there is any life form on Mars, it suggests that our own life would be possible there. Travel to Mars requires man to make rockets that reach up to 400 km/second in speed using the solar radiation from the sun for power since the distance is so large. The effects of time dilation as described by Albert Einstein will be seen.

I'm 60.
I stopped searching last year; I finished up realising that what I knew at seven years old was still true.
At seven I first heard of the 'god' concept and I was amazed that adults would believe in invisible sky thingies.
My amazement never waned although I did spend many years trying to find this imaginary critter.
Nowadays I just like being alive and doing stuff for its own sake.
Oh, I still learn stuff every day - that won't change till I die, I hope (I'd prefer not to get Alzheimer’s).

I have touched the subtle core of Life and found that it is not a sole possession. Everyone is missing the full experience of Life here, mis-directed into the stories placed upon the Life. The story seems to take on a life of it's own and also assumes authorship, usurping what cannot be usurped.

I am still searching to make sense of my place in this world. I do not believe in God but I am very spiritual, if that makes any sense. I still long to have a friend that can relate to me but I can bear the lost feeling if I concentrate on sharing the strengths I have with the world.

My belief in God was all that mattered until I realized that He can't possibly exist. I've been roaming and lost as an atheist, but unfortunatly, I think that's what life is all about when you get down to it. There is no meaning in the world.
I have held onto one thing that really doesn't matter in the grand scheme, but still somehow matters to me, and that is a belief in beauty. Beauty to me is self sacrifice and doing the right thing even when it is counterbeneficial to you. Evolution taught us to do only what is beneficial to ourselves. Religion taught us to do what makes God happy. I am only happy when I do what makes others happy despite how it affects me. It is the only thing left in my empty world, but it is something to hold onto.

First I found significance in myself. I really know myself very well. Once that was accomplished, I met my husband... Not to sound like a complete hippy, I'm not that spiritual, but together, we create a really nice energy. It's a very trusting, supportive relationship - we're each others' biggest fans. Now I'm looking forward to having children with him, and raising them according to our values.

There's nothing of much significance in my life. Nobody really cares about me. I'm 24, and I'm just now going to college. I'm pathetic.

my personal relationship with the lord.
Col 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward those [who are] outside, redeeming the time.
Jam 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
may god bless you always!!
