He gives lectures every Sunday and I wanted to find online a website where all of his lectures are.

***Specifically, I am looking for one show about how he was talking about the popular people being "cool" for that time being, and later in life, they don't succeed. I would really really appreciate it

would like to know if site is monitored re: answers.
there should be an answer to a question asked-if someone out there knows-we`re not all einstiens or walking encyclopaedias-and reason we ask questions is not to be picked up on our grammar nor stupid childish `remarks`
this is a good site. there are persons as young as 14-danielle-with a good head on her shoulders-others not-what example are we showing? a learning process-i think not-yes-as all-i can be a jerk at times-this isn`t site to inform me of such-hope for sake of majority-i read profiles-that there aren`t many muppets on site. i`m not offensive-don`t expect back re: questions asked. sincerely hope you all have a good day.

LOL I'm going to get killed for this.
I will start by saying the views in these studies do not necessarily represent my views. Actually I'm not sure where I stand on this at all because psychometric analysis is not exactly controlled, falsifiable science.
Also, IQ tests do not assess all types of Intelligence - from what I learned in psychology they just test logic, spatial, maths, and language ability. I just posted this here to see discussion because I think its an interesting/controversial topic. So don't hate on me - I'm just a blood elf warlock ok :)

My question is what does everyone think of the trend in psychological studies which show religiosity to be negatively correlated with intelligence (IQ). How do you interpret these studies? Is this a correlational fallacy? Are the studies merely unreliable or invalid?

These studies generally used college students so as to minimise inter-subject variability

I work with this married guy at work. He and his wife have no kids and they both work. I have met his wife and she's nice. There's this chick at work who's single but has little kids. She wants this married guy real bad and is playing very obvious games to snag him. She seems to only like going for married or taken men. When the boss isn'
t around, this chick is in this guys office or sitting outside with this guy. She covers for this guy when it comes to work all the time. It doesn't matter what time of day or night it is-she always seems to know where he is and what he's doing. It's affecting the qualty of work of both and there is a no co-worker romantic relationship policy in effect. My boss asked me outright but I had no proof so kept mum. So, my boss is wondering now to. Anyway, my question is: Should I continue to stay out of this as it really is none of my business except when it comes to the work quality or, should I find a way to let his wife know?

Here's what I believe, please give me a religion! :)
I believe that Jesus is the son of God.
I believe that there is only one God.
I somewhat believe that Mary is a Saint.
I believe that Christ was resurrected.
Feel free to ask more questions, I really do want to find my religion and please don't say Christianity, please refer to a single branch, or if it's a whole differnet religion. Share. please. thanks.

Which is the correct pronountiation of the word CELTIC. I have heard it pronounced both "keltik" and "seltik". Which is it? I have always thought "seltik" was probably more proper. (The basketball team is the "seltiks" not the "keltiks") I would really like to know which is the preferred way to pronounce it.

So this guy said to me on Monday, that he's b'day was on next Friday, well, I got confused, by "next Friday", did he mean it was on the Friday this week? OR the Friday next week????

I thought if he meant Friday this week, he would have said "THIS Friday", and "NEXT Friday" meant the Friday next week. am I right?

I'm all confused, I hope I didn't miss his b'day just bcuz of the misunderstanding!!!!

I saw this bumper sticker today that read "God save us... from your followers" LOL. didn't atheists in the past seem to be pretty much impartial to others beliefs? And geeeeeeze, on here?!!! They seem to have as much animosity towards Christians as radical Islam does towards Christianity. Can anyone tell me what has gotten them so pissy? Or is this simply prophecy? The part where masses turn against Jesus as end times near.

I moved to America and went to Catholic schools in my early years here. I hated the people, and I thought all Americans were detestable like them. Gradually, I started doing activities outside of school and I went to college, where I discovered normal, nice people! I don't know what was wrong with the people I went to Catholic school with. They seemed like they were very cliquey, racist, mean, closed-minded and isolated. Almost everyone I run into that goes to the local public schools or other private schools HATES the people at the Catholic school I went to. It's not that they're rich preps, I hear that group of people talk crap about the Catholic school kids.

I went to Catholic schools in two states, and the people were idiots both places. I'm not generalizing, but what's the deal? Is it because a lot of them are Irish?

It seems that very religious people already have a built-in meaning for their lives that their religion and belief in god provides. While it may be possible, I don't know of any super religious atheists, and it would seem that the "search for meaning" would be harder for them.

This isn't an attack on atheists nor do I doubt that there are atheists that lead fulfilling and happy lives.

I will apologise firstly to the religeous people and I respect your decision to follow one religion or another but it is impossible for me to believe in a god or any particular religion when the evidence of a god is insumountable. I think as mankind evolves we will one day be a religious free society, if religeous extremests don"t destroy the earth first in the name of god.

With the approach of Ramadan I've been thinking about Muslim religious events and how every single one involves nothing but sacrifice, prayer, and (in some cases) self flagellation. I know this is all part of the total submission to Allah, but are there holidays I'm not aware about where Muslims just have fun. You know, watch the soccer game with friends while the kids open presents under the Islam tree, the wives make some Chai egg nogg, and just have fun?
