I was told recently, by an "intuitive" that I have no soul. My family has been told this since before I was born. I have been told this all of my life by numerous people. I am not at all connected to many of the people who have told me this, and they have had no way to know anything about me either. So, how do I find more information on this & what it actually entails? I am NOT interested in ANY religious lectures. I could care less about "going to hell" or any such thing.

Do you ever get emotional when you think of what Jesus went through for us? The torture and humiliation! And He even thought he was so alone that His own father had forsaken Him.

At times I can't stand the thought and cry for hours for what He went through for ME a sinner.
What a slap in the face to Him if we don't receive the blood that He shed for us. How it must hurt.

I will spend the rest of my life spreading HIS word and being forever thankful to our Lord Jesus.

This bully really thought he was the toughest guy in school. He had us all in fear. He beat, kicked, and insulted me on a daily basis for 3 (gr8-10) years. All of the bullies and mean girls were no shows at my high school reunion. I was disappointed. Today, I'm 6 ft, 200 lbs, ex military, 4 year degree, and a black belt. I can beat him today. None of my old bullies will return my emails. I regret not fighting back in high school, and today's wannabe tough guys don't mess with me. I want to face my old bullies. The fear disappeared, but the hate just grew over the years.

I read my bible every night/day and I talk to God throughout the day. I attend church reguarly and I'm in the church choir. I just wen to bible study and prayer meeting on this Wenesday; really anything that goes on at church I'm there. I want to have strong faith and trust in God, but how? I suffer with anxiety/depression on and off, but last year it took a big hit on my life and Satan had me down and out. I really wasn't attending church or doing anything, but sitting at home on Sundays. I was letting the depression take control of my life and it was winning, until I decided that I had to take control of my life; with God included. I gave my life unto the Lord on last month during VBS that was at my church and since than I've been a better person because God was in my life. I didn't have anymore depression attacks since than; that was about 3-4 weeks of depression free attacks.

This is a real question. I want to know what you personally believe to be true. If you feel up to it, also why you believe what you do.

I will state first and foremost that I believe, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the earth orbits the sun. There is no evidence I have ever seen to say otherwise. However, there are certainly people with differing viewpoints and I would like to know why you believe what you do.

A question was recently posted asking which was the best way to teach children to serve God. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AqQ04fw_EO9rpIoHZz038Cbd7BR.?qid=20070901211747AA4FlCd Someone posted this as a response:

"Ummm... no offense to the previous poster, but I think we MUST teach them that they are NOT worthy of God's love.

Romans 3:23... ALL have sinned.
Romans 6:23... The wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life.

The bottom line is that children are born with sinner's hearts. No one has to teach them to disobey, to lie, to have a temper tantrum or anything like that., They are born with a "want" to sin."

As an atheist, my first reaction was a dumbfounded "whoa...?".

As a mother, this disturbs me greatly! How prevalent is this idea? How many new parents look into their beautiful baby's face and think, "You are not worthy of God's love."?

My spouse has broken his vows by committing adultery. I am wanting to leave my marriage because I believe that my spouse has given me the right to leave. We do not share the same religious beliefs, for I am a christian, and he is himself as he would put it. He is wanting me to stay and work through this.
I can't believe that God would restore a marriage where the vows were broken. Would that be going against the Bible?

I don't want to run from my marriage but I don't have anything to hold on to. My spouse is lazy, full of excuses, and worried about himself.

We are all human and certain things may hurt us. We could misunderstand a situation . And even strike back.
That is what satan wants. To kill, steal and destroy our homes our workplace our friendships and our place of worship.
If you feel this coming on, get into your prayer closet, into the Holiest of Holies and talk it out with God. He will never give you more than you can handle but He will help you along the way.

So what exactly are they then? Do some races people believe they aren't children of God even though they claim to be Christians?

Like some people claim Jewish people or Israelis are descendants of Satan and Eve. Have you ever heard of that belief? I think the KKK said something about that.

So what other races do some people believe aren't even humans?

The Bible clearly states that it is an abomination to eat shellfish, to wear clothing made with two types of fiber, to plant two different seeds in the same field, to be intimate with a woman during menstration, and the list goes on and on. Why do these people ignore and violate all these other "abominations" and focus on just the one? Wouldn't that make them all a bunch of hypocrites?
