salvation is based on a personal experience with Jesus, and that comes from being in agreement with him on the following. First, you must confess you are a sinner and ask him to forgive your sins. You must confess him as savior, that is you ask him to become your Lord and savior. You must believe that he died on the cross and was raised from the dead the third day.
If you are sincere, you may feel the need to pray this over and over on a frequent basis. If so, do it. Jesus will save you when you completely surrender your will to him. it might take you a while to do that.
this is an impersonal communications thing without you being able to ask a lot of questions right back.
there are a lot of people who will tell you that you need this or that. The fact is God desires that you come as you are and present yourself to him and ask for mercy. But he is a gentleman and will not force you to do this. He also will not come into your life until you are sincere.
you know how you might want something but really don't in your inner feelings. Jesus knows when your want and your inner feelings are in agreement.
The salvation experience is something that non-christians can not understand, or know. They make light of it as if it is a joke, but they themselves have no clue.
Salvation is the start, but the goal of your cry is spiritual maturity. That comes through fellowshipping with christians that love jesus and are growing, reading and studying the bible and witnessing your faith.
you will have some sorrow at those who can't share the love that Jesus gives you. Remember also, that the bible is spiritual in nature, not carnal (of the flesh) and that is why some will make fun of it as if it is just another book.
do the things first noted, as that is how you ask Jesus into your life. The rest will follow. and read the bible, a lot of people will tell you things to do which are not in there.
an example of this, my girl friend was asking me why the chinese were going to attack the antichrist and I told her they weren't, they were going to battle christ, (that is what the bible says). beware of those who don't have a clue

Jesus said that if you believe in him, you will not be condemned. And it's that simple. Jesus is the one who you depend on for salvation. Salvation means that you will have peace with God. Those that do not trust God do not have peace with him.
Now the Christian experience is going to be full of questions. And I know that there are a lot of questions. I have been a Christian for over 20 years and I STILL have questions. The best thing I can tell you is that you get your questions answered a little at a time. So be patient.
The Bible says that 'faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the world of God'. So listening to a good preacher will do several things for you.
I have found a rather good one here. Please listen to it when you can.

Here say this and automaticly make it to Heaven:
Dear Jesus,
I know I am a sinner
and I want you to forgive all of my sins
and be in my heart
and save me from evil
thank you Jesus,
Amen
incase you wanna know what "from all that is evil" means it mean Hell.
To have you other life times saved, so far, I heard from a precher, to obey the 10 commandments. I'm sure you'll know them and if you don't just search 10 commandments in the word search and maybe you'll find them. Maybe you will also learn more about God by reading the Bible, going to chuch, praying to God to help you, asking a percher something, or maybe even just trying in God on the word search that might help, and maybe even glance through a catagory about God on Yahoo! answers like this one right here.
P.S.: God is real don't listen to the people who says he's not real.

Romans 10:9 -10 says "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made salvation."
The confesssion is about coming to terms about your sinfulness and trusting in Jesus Christ as the one who justifies you before a holy God.
I highly recommend the following two ministries which both have amazing websites.

Andrew Wommack Ministries

Here is an awesome website that presents the gospel in a clear, simple way. www.ccci.org/wij/ Once you accept Christ, make sure you get into a good local church. You can look around for one that suits you. I go to a nondenominational church and like that because it is just a basic Bible believing church. Then make sure you tell someone in leadership that you need to be discipled. They will pair you up with someone that will help you along in your new journey. God bless!!

Not sure how much you know about Christ or becomeing a Christian. So I'll start with saying this is the most important and best decision that you have ever made. God sent His son Jesus to die for your sins and mine can you imagine how much God must love us to give His only Sons life for our sins so that we can spend eternity with Him? First you need to say the sinners prayer. Just say these words God I know that I have sin in my life and heart, I ask you to come into my heart and live for eternity. I am sorry for my sins and I ask for your forgiveness I promise I will try not to make the same mistakes that I have made int he past. Cleanse me Father of all sin and lead me to become more like You. Father I ask this in Jesus name (Matthew 18:19) Amen Now you are a new creature all of the old things in your life have passed away and now you are as white as snow perfectly pure in the eyes of God. The biggest struggle is to try and stay that way. You may have a hard time at first or it may be easy at first but sooner or later satan will try to get you back. All you need to remember is that you are a child of God. Strive daily to stay in the word of God and get into a bible based church (how will you know that itis a bible based church?) If they preach the word of God that is why it is important for you to start reading the bible daily even if it is only for a few verses. Something is better than nothing and GOd loves to see you seeking Him in your daily life that means to Him that you are thinking of Him and you love him. Think about it you can't make a friend without talking to them can you? It is sort of the same thing with Christ Jesus. I talk to Him all the time. I ask Him ?'s and listen for His advice sometimes you get it sometimes you don't. But He hears you and He loves you and if it is time you'll get your answer. One thing to remember though is just because you are a Christian now doesn't mean that your life will get easier sometimes it is just the opposite. You will still have heartaches and you will still have some trouble but now you have the Father to run to in your times of need or to just talk. I am so happy for you God Bless You in your new journey with Christ.Your friend and Sister in Christ Stephanie

Wow! It is so great to read a question like that! All you have to do to follow Christ is believe that Jesus, who is God, paid the price for your sins so that if you believe in him and repent, you don't have to, and pray for Jesus to come into your life. It would be a great idea to join a local Bible-based church and read the Bible daily. Good luck and congratulations on opening your eyes to the truth!

If you're serious, the key is to read the Bible. That is where you will really meet God. Try reading the Gospel of John to meet Jesus and Who He is, and then the book of Romans to understand salvation more. God bless you.
