I didnt get anything, my mum got him stuff but. I've never got dad father's day presents.. I should just get him something for his birthday.

father's days is just another day to spend money, just like birthdays, and christmas.

Nothing wrong with giving presents its good just father's day and my dad's birthday is the same.. same for mother's day, shouldn't mother's day just be mum's birthday.

Why can’t JW get a blood transfusion even to save their life? I think God would forgive them for getting one and I think god appreciates people who donations blood to help save lives. I have heard of many stories where parents let their kids die or a family member die because they wont sign saying that they can have a blood transfusion, I don’t get how someone can live knowing that they let their kid die and could have saved them, Why I don’t get how some ones love could be more for god then their own kids. My brother married a JW she though does not act as one she does not follow any of the rules but she calls her self a JW and for my brother to marry her he had to convert to a JW. And now he has and the girl my brother married is a huge JW family very strict and now it seems he is more of a JW then the girl he married and it has been bothering me the whole Blood transfusion thing because anything could happen and I’m scared what if he needs one will he say yes or no *I know his wife will say yes because like I said she likes to call her self a JW but doesn’t act like one I’m sure the only reason she hasn’t gotten kicked out is because her dad runs most of it* but anyways I asked him if he would get one and he said NO and the funny thing is my mom had to get a Blood Transfusion before he was born so that means if she was a JW most likely would have died so how can my brother now be a hypocrite of that? I just don’t get it! I think god has forgiven my mother for getting one and I know many other jw that have had blood transfusions like the big singer Selena she got a blood transfusion and she was JW. I don’t really know what I’m asking I’m just venting.

If my dad died tomorrow, I wouldn't really care! He's made my life very difficult, he's made it clear, he really doesn't like me, and he's just such a negative person, anytime your around him you feel a very negative vibe. I don't wish he died, I don't think you should wish death on nobody, but if he was to die, I wouldn't really feel bad, is that wrong.

It's Father's Day here. I have been coudled, tickled, smooched and well wished. My sons gave me the James Bond series on DVD (all of them!), and my daughter made a "speak to the hand" sign for my desk in my office .... I've been weighed and measured... my 17 year old is now ever so slightly taller than me but I got 50 pounds advantage over him ~ my guns are still bigger but he is catching up!

Seriously, how can they keep that a secret?

Xenu the Space Overlord decided to depopulate his overcrowded Intergallactic Empire by sending (on spaceships that looked like DC-10's) a ton of aliens he didn't like, by freezing them and sending them to Teegeeakk (Earth) to be destroyed in volcanoes where their souls flew into the sky and were captured by soul catching machines and were then (for some reason) sent into the bodies of early humans.
In order to feel better you have to get rid of these souls. (Thetans.)
Is that about right? Did I miss anything?

If I know all about it, and I'm just some guy, how can you expect people to give you their life savings to know the Big Secret?
It was on a South Park episode!! How secret is that?

Or maybe they're making up bigger and better, sad, sci-fi mythology these days.

I read somewhere that God killed around 2,270,365 people while Satan only killed around 10people according to the Bible. Do Christians believe that God is still killing today? For example I know that there are some that believe he destroyed New Orleans. If he is not, wonder why the big change?
I'm not really talking about all of the millions that have been killed by the diseases, etc that God invented. But those that he purposely kills.

I have observed that an overwhelming number (97%?) of "spanish prisoner" type confidence scams from the cotinent of Africa showing up in my email box.

I'm just curious about this. We all know the bad stuff about Scientology through popular culture and reading about it on the internet.
I'm just wondering, are there any scientologist out there who can give a clear, comprehensive answer to my question? If you feel it is beneficial to you, how so? What exactly is auditing and how does it help you?
Are you given any proof to an alien presence or is it all just through belief?
I never heard anything good about Scientology except by Tom Cruise and I trust him about as much as I trust doctors and lawyers.

One is used more than the other and so much blood has been spilled in God's name use of it or crosses and such should have no affect so on The Devil so why not add new ideas to The Bible so things make more sense. Also why should Demons and Devils be any more obediant to The Devil than God or is there any reason why The Devil could not introduce democracy in Hell with voting and courts for all. Why should people limit themselves to what The Bible says either why not add something new about Hell to it like if The Devil is not into democracy that a revolution in Hell could occur .
