There are many in almost in every place in India - both real and fake, in the name of Saints, Swamis and Babas. India is too crowded and hence some have gone to abroad also.

But it is for us to find the real holy people and follow them without falling in the traps of the fakes. Even now you can find Avathara Purushas like Sai Baba, Shankaracharyas, Amritanandamayi etc. and they are real.-

The whole of India is filled with fake swamiyars making good money and enjoyig at the cost of the ignorant ,masses .no stae is an exception.the majority of he people are not onlky poor but the so -called elite are also foolish. the swamijis who are teaching the art of living ar practising the art of living at the cost of fools among the population and showing the way to the art of living a comfortable life surrounded by large number of women of elite societies cracking jokes , drinking fom silver cupos and eating from silver plates wearig silk jubbas and sparaying wonderful perfumes and having a nice time in their company. Many swamiyaras have been caught and charged with some offence or other and .some very careful swamiyars are able to manage the show without being caught . The lives of the so-called holy men clad in silks in Inida are diamertrically opposed to the Hindu philosophy of renunciation and humility.
There is no real holy men in India now ..do not seek for them in cities in India .thre may be some among mendicants unknown ot people .search for them.

Usually you will not be able to see any holy person or saint here, but if your intentions are so strong then saint will come to you. There is no criteria for deciding areas of saints. And in todays world they wanna to be alone.

Holy People? Please.... they Worship Khrishna, Siva and the rest of their Pantheon of gods.
Jesus said this about his Disciples . . . Also, I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world and I am coming to you. HOLY FATHER, watch over them on account of your own name which you have given me, in order that they may be one just as we are.”—John 17:6-11.
Jesus mentions " Holy " as Respects his Father, not Men from India or anywhere else.
