Souls aren't made out of matter, at least not as far as we can tell experimentally. (We can't even demonstrate souls' existence with experiment.) So they don't show up on sonograms, x-rays, MRIs, or any other imaging system devised.

because the human soul is undetectable with other
forms of energy. their power blots out the essence of
the soul. the human fetus's small (duh) therefore the
energy of it is weak. the stronger light/energy of the
sono reduces the image to blend in with the fetus's soul.
