Because, of something BAD that has happened to
you in the past...and that Anniversary is almost here...Please tell me, how do you cope with this? Sometimes the more I try to cope with it, the worse it gets.

I dont sweetie , I try not to cling to the past
and even at times like anniversaries of death ... I prefer to remember the happier times
so I will make a point of celebrating their birthday ( literally ) than remembering the day they died
so it is replacing a negative day for something more positive

if you want to email me and explain ... maybe I can help
as it is difficult not knowing your situation
( only if you want to of course )

Fall is a time of melancholy for me. I suffered some of my most painful losses as the leaves began to turn. I think fall brings back a lot of mixed emotions for many people. I have come to the point that I take some time for myself, usually late at night, and put on some of my old music and just embrace the memories. Not often, just when I feel the pressure of holding back my emotions in a way that is not good for me. Bless you, Kerilyn. May you find a peace that passes all understanding for whatever grieves you.

10/17 and 10/24. Those are the days I lost my two beloved teacup pomeranians, Sugar and Honey. 11/26 and 1/7 the days I lost my two beloved poodles, Roxy and Rex. I still cry. Love has no boundries. Oh, how I miss them all so.

I understand how you feel. December 18 is a tough day for me because it was the day my only child/son died suddenly. I usually try to spend the day with a friend or family member and also spend special time with the Lord in prayer. It all helps!

December 25th at 7:00pm (central). I get really sad that I have to wait another year for the 24 hour marathon of "A Christmas Story."

I have issues with every single day of the year. Mainly because I have to get out of bed.

Several. But you wouldn't want to cope the way I do. So sorry, Kerilyn :(

We all love you, sweetie :)

yea, December 1988, I was in Panama for Operation "Just Cause". I had to shoot a guy who was shooting at my friends.

He popped up from behind a car we were walking towards and sprayed in our direction. i punched him with 3 bursts from my m-16a2. He was dead before he hit the ground.

I just remeber that I didn't cause the situation, I just delt with it.
