So I have custody of my two nieces for the second time in their lives and they are only 6 and 8 years old. It always surprises me how wowed people our by this, I have my own 6 year old and am single. But I wouldn't think twice, this is my family! So my sister just had a newborn baby, the state decided to take custody, so here I am with a newborn. Now people just think I am stupid when I feel they are the ones who need to change their views. We are so set on individualism, and such a selfish culture I work in the community and believe it takes a village, my daughters family is from mexico and although they do praise me, they also no this is part of my responsibilty, these children need me, everyone else see's it as a choice and that I'm not making a good one because I will be too overwhelmed, it just blows me away how selfish we are.

Why were they always worried about wolves when dinosaurs could have really done more damage. Dinosaurs were around until very recently you know. Cave paintings of a brontosaurus proves this beyond a doubt.

....Did you know the bible predicted in 2 Corinthians 11:4 about people preaching "another Jesus"?AND--the fact that your religions were INVENTED way after the bible was completed.Here is the defenitions of some of the "false jesus'" presented in false religions:
1--catholic--Jesus is a long blond haired hippy with an Italian mommy with black hair who needs to answer His prayers for Him.
2--Jehovahs Witnesses--Jesus is just a man,also Michael the archangel,also an " a god" "extra god",but Jehovah is the only true God.Jesus was crucified on a pole and was re-created on the 3rd day.
3--Mormons--Jesus is Lucifer's brother who had 3 wives on earth.Also,we can exalt to Godhood as Jesus evolved to it as well.
4--Muslims--Jesus is not God,but just a prophet,and Muhammed wants us to kill those who reject us.

It doesn't seem to work that way these days. Have churches reneged on the deal?

Should churches whose leaders make political statements on their followers' behalf be stripped of tax-free status?

We Muslims have no hesitation in acknowledging that in the Bible, there are three different kinds of witnessing recognizable without any need of specialized training. These are:
1. You will be able to recognize in the Bible what may be described as "The Word of God."
2. You will also be able to discern what can be described as the "Words of a Prophet of God."
3. And you will most readily observe that the bulk of the Bible is the records of eye witnessess or ear witnesses, or people writing from hearsay. As such they are the "Words of a Historian"
You do not have to hunt for examples of these different types of evidences in the Bible. The following quotations will make the position crystal clear:
The FIRST Type:
(a) I will raise them up a prophet . . . and I will put my words in ... and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him." (Deuteronomy 18:18)
(b) I even, I am the Lord, and beside me there is no saviour." (Isaiah 43:11)

i never know when its appropriate to shake hands with someone.. when im introduced to someone i never know whether to shake hands with them or not. i think shaking hands is quite formal when im introduced to a friend of a friend, but its kinda nice at the same time.. what do you think??

Hi people, i am learning how to speak Spanish these days, because it is crucial for my line of work.... so i am taking few crash courses to learn basic Spanish, i want to watch some good Spanish movies but i don't know their names, please tell me some movies, i already watched "Y Tu' Mama Tambien" that's a very good movie, i know most dvd's comes with Spanish spoken language track but i prefer to watch original Spanish movies like i mentioned above, thanks a lot in advance.

sometimes random things happen, like i just know they are going to happen. like sometimes watching cricket i have a random thought like "the batter is going to get out this ball" and it happens, and a few months ago when i was doing maths stuff with my mate we had to write down numbers (1 - 100) and I said i'll write down the numbers u write down, and i got his number twice in a row but then i didnt want to do it anymore cos it was weird lol. and the 2nd number i had the wrong number written down, then i changed it because for some reason i felt like writing down another number ( the 2nd was the right one ) and apparantley when i was young i got heads/tails coin game right like 20 times in a row according to my aunty. And other random stuff along those lines. Do you think its just random happenings, or something psychic lol? sorry for long question.
