My beautiful Mother
You are so dear
I really hope
That you can hear
All the wonderful words you children have to say
On this, your buriel day

You touched our hearts
With love, joy and laughter
To take with us
To our own "here after"
For in our hearts you shall stay
Forever and ever
Never to frey

My only hope is to be
As great of a mother to my children
As you were for me
To teach them to love and be good
No matter how misunderstood
And to love them unselfishly
Like you did for me

For if I can do that
I know in my heart
You'll meet me in heaven
And we'll never have to depart
So you wait for me Mom
My life is not yet done here
I have children to raise
And things left to do
Before again, I can be with you

Just want you to know
How I love you so
And I'll do my best
To make you proud
I'll be loving and true
And praise Jesus out loud
From the time the sun sets
Untill the morning dew
I'm gonna try to be
Just like you.

I love you Mom.

Absolutely your love for your mother comes across so clear in this.
I'm really sorry for your loss.

It sounds like an appropriate poem. I know how hard it is to know what to say when someone you loved dies. I went through it a year and a half ago when my husband died, and I take comfort in the fact that what I said was sincere, however much sense it made to anyone else. People will judge whatever you say kindly, because they know how hard it is.

God made mother,
so He could be everywhere!
I am sorry to hear the sad news but it is the God's will that prevails.
Your poem touched me deeply, I will save it. It showed how much you love her.
May God bless the departed soul with eternal peace and grant you + your family the courage to bear this immense loss!

I'm so sorry for your loss. The poem is fine; it will bring tears to the eyes of the people at the service. Certainly, read it there.

I lost my mother 6 months ago. Apart from the last 2 verses, it's quite touching.
