Have you ever considered that if a person never existed, that grave and body would be just as absent?

shaolt2002: using the bible to prove events described in the bible is incredibly circular. You of all people should recognise that.

It isn't. In general, graves get raided, bodies get moved, graves are created and never used so it is proof of nothing except that someone took the time to create a grave site.

I love the way you fan the flames and they just dance up and down, this way and that ...do it again - do it again.

As I said: I come here for the laughs and they never disappoint me.
Apparently laughter releases endorphins into the body; it’s all very healthy so they say.

LOL.

i do think jesus was real, i'm just not sure about the "son of god" kind of story. the only evidence of him being real is millions of people following him - i would find it a bit absurd for millions of people following a character that never existed, though who knows?

1 Corinthians 15:1 Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, 2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you--unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.

This translated quotation comes from a letter written by a man in the 1st century AD. This man was in Jerusalem when Jesus was alive and he writes to people in Greece whom he knows and loves and is concerned about.

In his letter he tells them of the eyewitnesses to Jesus death and resurrection. Just because this letter has been included in a book of religious writings does not negate the circumstances of it being written or the historical evidence that it provides.

There is no evidence that the letter is a forgery or that the author wrote it in the hopes of fooling people either in the time that he wrote it or in later generations.

Here's a link to the University of Missouri-Kansas City Law school's web site where one of the founders of the Harvard School of Law examines the evidence of the resurrection of Jesus. He undertook this project to disprove the biblical testimony concerning the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He was certain that a careful examination of the internal witness of the Gospels would dispel all the myths at the heart of Christianity.

Burke and Hare ran a very good line in empty tombs. I am not sure any of them ever contained a living god though.

The empty tomb is the reason we believe Y'shua was ressurected by God.

Until Jesus' remains are discovered.. You unbelievers can keep on guessing and Christians will keep saying "Told ya so"

That is only part of the story. Why would millions of people be willing to die for someone that never existed? How did Christianity get started? The evidences are there my friend, we just have to open our eyes and see them.
