About a year ago, for a funeral for a friend.

I was respectful, and kept my opinions to myself.

My lady chum being catholic, felt obligated to flow and that i did not prefer her to be on my own there. the only time i've got been uncovered to Catholicism replaced into in Mexico, yet for some reason i replaced into surprised to be sure this type of advantageous form of white people so lively and passionate relating to the full deal. I even have additionally come to the top that except that is finished by an epic choir with a huge organ in ominous sounding latin, all church song is --nicely, crap, although not as undesirable as those "Songs of worship" CD bargains they have have been given on previous due night television.

Only last month. I did a tour of the cathedral in Valencia (Spain) to see all the graven images . It was very colourful and was a good money making scheme (for the church). Didn't see anyone praying.

It was one of the things that convinced me to become an atheist. I don't really know what I should have expected but I encountered a very large group of people who thought/talked very little about theology and mostly only did a bunch of singing and praising.

I guess that's OK if you already believe, but it all just seemed like a cult-like scam to me.

Three months ago - a catholic school chapel with my mate for his six year old son only cos the kid wouldn't have understood why I didn't want to go.
It was pleasant enough but it's not a place I feel comfortable in cos I don't like doing hypocrisy and churchified chit-chat is not my scene.

Actually I'm agnostic and I go quite often. I have family that is involved and I go to support them when they sing and stuff like that.

It is known that I am not a believer. I think I'm something like the church project. If anyone can get me to convert they win a prize.

A couple years ago with my mother... I was caring for her after surgery and she asked me to take her so I could be there to take her home should the excursion become too tiring..

I respect my mother and gladly took her to her church service of choice..
