The Catholic religion requires good grooming. Good grooming shows respect for the body and promotes self-love. You can have long hair, so long as it's groomed, but there is nothing in Catholic Dogma that forbids a short haircut.

If your school wants you to get a haircut, you are going to have to get a haircut - your school's administrations IS the boss of you so long as you are in the school.

If you do not want to get a haircut, perhaps you should consider transferring to a school that does not mind your hair the way it is.

No, you'll have to turn to pagan religions for that provision. Some pagans argue that they should not cut hair or beard, because that is altering what Mother Nature gave them. I suppose you could shop around for other religions that say the same, but why not just try standing on your own rights to decided what happens to your own body, citing Roe vs. Wade for the proposition that people have the right to decide what happens to their own bodies?

Not that I've ever heard of and I was raised Catholic and went to Covent schools. Besides if there were don't you think there would be a lot more priests and brothers with long hair.

They can make you cut it above your ears. If you do not cut it, you will be reprimanded. You won't be allowed to keep facial hair, either.

So, if you really are a dude, then why are you fussing so much about your hair? Just grow up and get a hair cut.

The Church recognizes and accepts the right of educational and other government institutions to discipline and educate our children. Even Jesus Christ was subject to the discipline of his parents.

Sorry, we must obey the laws/rules.

Look to the pagans (or the Amish or Mennonites).
