We are all human and certain things may hurt us. We could misunderstand a situation . And even strike back.
That is what satan wants. To kill, steal and destroy our homes our workplace our friendships and our place of worship.
If you feel this coming on, get into your prayer closet, into the Holiest of Holies and talk it out with God. He will never give you more than you can handle but He will help you along the way.

So true. I'm a Christian, and yeah, I get down and depressed quite often. As great as our God is, I think it's impossible for us to focus our minds on Him 24/7. The reality of our lives is such a blindspot for what we ought to really focus our minds on. I do agree that if we spent more time in prayer, we wouldn't have to feel so isolated all the time. Take care

Yes I get down and Boogie, sorry Sis, just muckin around :-)
I have clinical depression and take medication for it.
I have and do pray about it and have asked my doctor to slowly reduce the meds so I can go off them now as I want to find out if I need them anymore as it's been more than a yr now and I feel good mostly, as in normal (if such a thing) and I'm wondering if it's my bodies addiction to them now?
Have a beautiful week S*
And thankyou for the great advice and reminder about the accuser.
Love in Him,
Le7

Of course our emotions let us down. We cannot trust them because they change. God does not change. If we were perfect then there wouldn't be a need for God. We would be self-sufficient. Fortunately, we are humans and make errors. So, when we get to heaven we will be appreciative of all that God has for us. Aren't you glad for forgiveness? Without it, we would have no hope!

Very well said. You definitely have to stay prayed up everyday and always have the Armor of God on. Evil can come in any shape, form, or fashion.

I am very confused at the moment -- I think God loves some and not others and doesn't care if people try their hardest or not. I don't understand the Bible and I don't like how people interpret it to say what they want it to say, so I can't trust them to help me make sense of it. I will still keep praying but I feel very angry about the whole thing.

There is just One God. And God is the most powerful one across the entire universe.

So, all the believers, seek God's mercy and blessing whenever things go wrong.

Amen! He is our strength, our refuge in any storm life throws at us! That's why it is so important to know His Word and lean on HIS promises. That means we must submit and that is where too many have problems! Not me, I go running to my Savior as I am too weak...He is not!
