The Bible clearly states that it is an abomination to eat shellfish, to wear clothing made with two types of fiber, to plant two different seeds in the same field, to be intimate with a woman during menstration, and the list goes on and on. Why do these people ignore and violate all these other "abominations" and focus on just the one? Wouldn't that make them all a bunch of hypocrites?

There are many hypocrites in all religions.

I define hypocrites when they use the bible, or any other holy book based on their religion, when it suits their argument. But completely ignore it, when it doesn't suit their argument.

This is plain hypocrisy.

one, some people, like i, havent gotten thus far into the bible to know this. 2, i like the part of the bible where it says that judging is gods role, so im not one of those people who is disgusted at homosexuality, im pretty sure i have atleast 2 gay friends, and i dont like when people judge especially groups, im not a hypocrite in the situation u used, but i may be because i have judged someone, but im human and i cant completely control that, its no excuse but what am i to do about it. and also, why do some people have morals but have no other grounds but themselves, which arent that sturdy, to set them on?

We don't just concentrate on one we have others like murder after all what is abortion? If you read a little more of the Bible you will see that God declared all food clean. Try to stick with just the Moral laws and you will see that you have a long way to go to understand what the Bible is trying to say. The problem is unless you are saved by asking Jesus Christ into you heart to help guide you then you will never be able to fully understand the Bible since it requires the Holy Spirit on the inside to give wisdom.

You are RIGHT!

The truth is, we are all abominations. The Bible is telling us all that stated throughout. None of us are good. All of us are sinners. and God will not tolerate sin in His presence.

There are a lot of Christians that prove their ability to rebel against God, by abandoning the Gospel which Jesus has given to us to preach. In it is the power of God. But they let go of the Gospel for a message of condemnation.

I am not being good by saying so. In fact, I condemn myself, because it am saying that I am too a sinner. But I am saved by grace through Jesus Christ. I am given grace through the gift as long as I trust in God for His promise.

I cannot get very far with so many who are so perverse with their doctrines. But I can tell you that it is not about being pure in life, but it's about believing God when He says something.

Many Christians cherry pick the parts of the bible that are convenient for them and ignore the parts that aren't.

We are no longer under Old Testament law. The prohibition against practicing homosexuality is repeated in the New Testament.

The spirit of Hate (from satan) is Operating in their Life.

satan attacks Children of GOD MORE than he attacks the ones he already has.
There are Alot of Children of GOD and regular people in Prison BECAUSE satan knows what GOD has called them for when they are Born on this Earth.
satan Really goes after the "Called of GOD to be Preachers".

All those are OT commands done away with by the sacrifice of Christ. Homosexuality however is also condemned in the NEW Testament meaning it is still binding.
