Ebay had weak needle based ones, I need a digital one. I ask here, because religion is the only place that answers.

You could make one with Parts from Radio Shack.

Need a Coil of wire hooked to FET and a Amplifier.

The Coil produces a Voltage when a varying ElectroMagnetic Field fluncuates across it, charging the FET (Field Effect Transistor--very sensistive) then Amplify it and send it to a Meter (Needle Deflects).
Probably use an Op-Amp to Deflect the Needle (Meter).

Actually, go to a electrician's supply store - it's a common tool electricians use to test wiring in homes and businesses.
