I don't know how old you are but I went through this too. I studied many different "religions. Truth is I AM a Christian!!! I am an Ordained Minister. I was ordained NON-denominational for the purpose that I Believe the Truth of Gods word and not the By-laws of man. There are some
good websites you can go to try The Church of Living Water. That is where I was ordained it sounds like you believe the scripture which is what they believe as well. Keep Praying God is the way for you to find where you belong He will never lead you wrong and He will never leave you.

spirituality cant be found like shoes at a WALMART. If you think you can just shop around until you find a religion that agrees with you, then you are totally missing the point.

You need to focus on your own life and decide what you beleive for yourself, and then have the courage of your own convictions.

If you are just looking for a group of people who will just say its ok for you to say and do the things YOU want, then you can just do what you want anyway and simply lie to the establishment of the religion you were born into.

If there really is a God dont you think he'll know what your game is? Real spirituality is about facing your faults and seeking atonement. Asking a higher power for forgiveness and having the faith to beleive that you can earn it with acts of kindness.

This is an oversimplification of course. There is much more to it than that, and for what its worth I don't buy into organized religion myself.

I do beleive in a higher power all the same. I will die confident that I have been a good person and will ascend to heaven if its there.

I feel that the "golden rule" is the primary objective for our lives, regarless what form it takes in any given religion, and if we can manage to live by it then we will be well on the way to enlightenment.

If you do for others as YOU WOULD HAVE them do for you, because you know its the right way to be then you don't need an organization to give you a rulebook

You don't need a religion, you ned a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm not sure what you mean about Mary being a saint. Catholics might have a different opinion than I, but a siant is a born again believer in Christ. All of us who hav surrendered our lives to the lordship of Jesus are saints. The apostle Paul warns us not to get get wrapped up in sectarianism (1 Corinthians). Don't go looking for a denomintaion. I know that you said not to do this, but we are called to be Christians, not to be "of Paul" or "of Apollos". Those were the apostle Paul's figurative examples of denominations. Don't yoke yourself with this church doctrine or that one. Get a Bible, read it, believe it, live it. Please note, I am not telling you not to find a body of likeminded believers with whom to come together for worship and service. I am simply saying that you need not label yourself a Methodist or a Catholic or a Lutheran.
If you're asking for the name of the denomination with which you are most likeminded, You have not really offered enough information. Please, read your Bible, find its Truth for yourself, and then go looking for people that believe what it says as well. Don't go looking for a church that will spoon feed you its doctrine. You can't develop a true relationship with a person that your friend knows unless you meet him peronaly and develop an independant relationship. In the same way you can not develop a relationship with the Lord by going through someone else. I am not saying that you should not seek advice from others. I am saying that you must find Him personally. I believe the best way to do that is to accept the Bible as an authority---the Word of God.

I don't think anyone can tell you what to like and it don't just
come down to what we like. You sound like you could be a
Baptist, a Methodist or Presbyterian. Your beliefs seem to
fit nicely into those three. First thing is pray to God for
guidance. Look in the phone book for a church you might
like to check out. Agree to go one time.( Here's a tip.) If you
like big crowds and not too much attention try a big church.
If you like attention, or at least can deal with it then a small
church is more likely your best choice. Please remember
to pray and ask for guidance. Also you don't need to go to
the same church twice. Shop around and see which church
you feel most at home in. If you like to sing you might like to
check out a church that has a quire. I believe you know this.
Jesus is the only one to have walked on the water, healed
the sick and even raised the dead. When He was baptized
"a voice came from heaven , saying, This is My beloved
Son in whom I am well pleased" Matt; 3: 17. My God can do
all things. But one thing He can't do is lie. God said Jesus is His Son. Pray to God in the holly name of Jesus and let God
the Holly Spirit guide you

To be honest....you've done the hard part....you kno what you believe!! Dont be so quick to try and define your religion into a category....thats too many peoples reaction.

I change my beliefs daily, based on new ideas, new signs, new blessings in my life and im gona keep changin and keep my mind open.. God dwelleth in the heart of all man, so follow your heart. thats why no1 else can define your belief, you have to look inna yourself! But also god create the human mind and the human contemplation, and you have to use all the things god give you to form your opinion. including all your past experience and also your brothers and sisters around you....jus look for the truth and you will find.

I personally am a rastafari...and im not gona come and say rastafari is for everyone and try and sway you into my religion, because me dont believe in that. 'inside our fathers house, there is many mansions' but i do have to outline that that is one belief which most organised religion wont tolerate. But reflection is the key to spirituality....whatever god you worship. there is no 1 answer that you can be sure of and stick to all your life....otherwise why did god give humans this inquisitive mind? through other people's thoughts and through comtemplation you muss find your own path.........

never be scared to question what you believe. Also dont be afraid when people dont agree with you...in my opinion anyone who lives by a strict organised religion, and thinks they have all the answers...hasnt read the holy book properly in the first place. it say that god is the only all seeing, all knowing force in the universe. so that mean that no matter how many books youve read or how much thinkin you do, no human is ever gona know it all. we are a imperfect creations

hope that helps
blessed love....guidance and protection

If you are referring to Mary as a saint in the sense of someone cannonized by the Catholic church as a saint, You are Catholic. In many places in the New Testament the followers of Christ were called saints which would make you as much of a saint as Mary. I am Mormon abd we are all called saints (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints). I'm sure other denomination follow this practice.

There is nothing about your beliefs that put you in a specific belief system. I suggest you look for the true church and adopt those beliefs rather than look for a church which follows your beliefs. There are already tens of thousands of churches founded upon one man's belief. Ask yourself who God gave authority to start a church in his name. I have found such a church with Christ at the head. I'd be happy to tell you more

It sounds like you want to find a religion that fits the beliefs you already have. If you're concerned with the truth, however, you might have to adjust your line of thinking. The Roman Catholic church says that Mary is a saint, but most of the rest of the world believes she was human. A very good human, but not a human to be prayed to. Everybody is going to tell you that they have the corner on the market as far as truth is concerned, but there aren't many people who will refuse to do military service because of their beliefs, or who try to maintain neutrality as far as politics goes. Jesus told his disciples to spread the good news of his Father's kingdom, and there aren't many people doing that, either. I'm not a JW, but I do think they know what's going on.

You believe, but you can't stand alone on this one , Jesus, the only begotten of the Father,Elotheim, who reigns in the Heavens, has presented a plan of salvation through Jesus to come back to them , you can't make this trip on your own.
So the church that Jesus organized when He was on this earth has been restored by the direction of the Father through His appointed Authorities to present this Plan of Salvation to the world , It is here today .
You are aquainted with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? So get going and seek out the missionaries.

Listen saying I want to be a Christian and I am not going to hang out with Christians is just stupid. What a brat. When ever you get your mind made up as to what you will accept in your new religion that is no religion put it on a list and we will sacrifice it to what ever God you choose and we will even pour water on it and watch as God throws it in the flames Judgment day.
As a Christian I give Him all my Thanks and love and devotion because He accepted me and my cry for help. I do it everyday I wake up.
So excuse me if I am offended by you thinking that you make the rules instead of dropping on your knees and surrendering your heart to Christ. And begging Him to show you what He wants you to do.
Grow up.

The Catholic Church is the original Christian Church. They are the ones that Jesus started through the first Pope St. Peter, who was one of the apostles. The succession of the Popes from St. Peter has never been broken and are recorded. Why don't you join the original and the only Church that still has the authority that Jesus Christ passed on down to it.. " I give you the keys Peter, and on this rock I shall build my church." ( The keys are a symbol of authority.)
