I moved to America and went to Catholic schools in my early years here. I hated the people, and I thought all Americans were detestable like them. Gradually, I started doing activities outside of school and I went to college, where I discovered normal, nice people! I don't know what was wrong with the people I went to Catholic school with. They seemed like they were very cliquey, racist, mean, closed-minded and isolated. Almost everyone I run into that goes to the local public schools or other private schools HATES the people at the Catholic school I went to. It's not that they're rich preps, I hear that group of people talk crap about the Catholic school kids.

I went to Catholic schools in two states, and the people were idiots both places. I'm not generalizing, but what's the deal? Is it because a lot of them are Irish?

I have noticed that about 85% of Catholics are unfriendly and unlikable BUT, so are about 90% of all people. So they are below the average in those two categories.

But look at the plus side, now you have victim status. So "American", today. Btw, about 80% of all people are classified today as "victims." Or even better, "victim survivor."

Unfortunately, I have not been a victim of anything that I can recall, but sooner or later I hope to be one.

Eh, I don't know. I went to a catholic school and I like to think that I'm friendly :)
And I'm sure you think you're friendly and you went to a catholic school too. So you can't say that all people at Catholic schools are mean.

Maybe it's because of their parents. Most people that make their children go to a public school are likely to be conservative... and maybe a lot of them are also unfriendly. Therefore their children learn to be that way.
I don't know... but I think my logic makes sense.

My husband is a conservative Catholic and boy, he's bitchy towards Protestants and other non-Catholics as if they are a bad influence! Same with my dad.
