Lazarus. What does it mean, actually?

It is a name. Lazarus was the brother of Mary Magdalen. He died and was entombed, but it says in the Gospel of St John that, despite the fact that his body was already putrefying, Jesus brought him back to life.
The meaning of the name is "Someone whom God has helped".

The more famous one is the subject of the miracle recounted only in John 11:41-44, in which Jesus raises him from the dead. He was a poor Jew during the time of Jesus peace be upon him. According to Islamic teachings he died during the times of Jesus and he was brought to life by Jesus by order of the All-Mighty God. Bible also tells like this:
