I asked this question without "why won't you share them", and got only one (astute) answer, which was a doubt I'd get answers.
I thought that doubt was celebrated, both in Christian, esp. protestant theology-Thomas etc, and in scientific scrutiny.
Maybe it is considered a weakness by R&S regulars?

From what I gather you believe in Jesus but you don't believe in the trinity saying that there are 3 in 1.
You believe the bible:
John 14:7-11
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

Is Jesus Blaspheming or is it possible there is a trinity and he is tellingthetruth

Okay, I just read yet ANOTHER question about evolution.
I also read a VERY interesting article today and started to think, 'you know, who cares?'. I mean, it isn't really evolution we should be worried about, is it? It's whether we were created via Intelligent Design.

So....if Christians could concede the idea of evolution (PLEASE read this: http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2007/march/37.74.html ) then how would our discussions change?

Evolutionists, are you atheists as well? Would Intelligent Design be just as serious an issue for you as 'instant creation without evolution'?

Atheists, I'm curious as to your reaction to the article in regard to the quotes from Francis Collins and Freeman Dyson.

Hitler may in public have claimed to be doing the will of God, but records of his private conversations show otherwise. Many of these were recorded by his secretary and published in a book called "Hitler's Table Talk" (Look, A SOURCE!)

this sounds very stupid for what i need prayers for...i'm graduating [God willing] from university this december and i am petrified. could you pray for me to have a good futur? i'm looking for work within my field, but all of them told me when i have actually graduated to contact them. so just a simple mention of name would be nice...i know that there are more important things but my question is could you please mention my name in your prayers so i can an employment in my area of studies? i cannot thank you enough. My boyfreind just broke up with me and we never got around to having sexbecause we never had the chance!! I really don't feel like going out and screwing everybody that walks like some people! I'm 16 and every other person that's Gay at my age isn't a Virgin anymore!! I am so embarrassed !! I don't want to meet a guy and tell him that I'm a Virgin if he's not.. :( He will probably laugh at me or think that I'm a Loser!

Should I just stay a Virgin forever or something??

It appears that Jesus had most of his followers there, and I suspect that he summarized all the things they needed to know. So why did he forget to mention the plan of salvation? (Sacrifice for Sin)

But instead of that, he said if you forgive others, God will forgive you. And if you don't fogive others, God will not forgive you.

or meditating? Is your life enhanced in anyway when you do?

I find that praying does help when I am in need. I am not religious, just looking to find happiness and I wonder if others have quit doing it because it didn't work for them or if it really is a powerful tool that can change our lives.

I have recently met up with an old school friend, she has now become a born again christian, I am not a religous person at all, but I respest her beliefs. The last time we met up for a coffee she told me I would go to hell for not being a 'born again christian'...I wasnt too bothered, but she then said my two year old would also go to hell, This has really offened me and I am really angry that she could say that...I dont really want to see her ever again. According to the theory of evolution, humans and dinosaurs never lived at the same time. This is obviously a lie propagated by the devil in an attempt to discredit the findings of Creation Science. There has already been proof that dinosaurs and humans coexisted.

The archaeologists Hanna and Barbera, assisted by famed creation scientist Em Adjineri, unearthed video footage of a family that lived thousands of years ago in a town called Bedrock.

This family was named the Flintstones, and had a pet dinosaur (I believe it was a brontosaurus). This footage was shown regularly on television in the early 60's.

This footage proves that dinosaurs coexisted with humans. It also proves that cave men were brightly colored and two-dimensional.

I dialed a number and realized just after that I had dialed the wrong number. Instead of waiting to tell the person that I had dialed the incorrect number, I hung up after like the 1st ring. Shortly thereafter, the person called ME back wanting to know why I was calling them!! What's up with that? Are people so paranoid that they feel they have to know every single person that called? If I get MULTIPLE wrong numbers from the same line that won't leave a message, I may be inclined to call and inquire, but after one call? Really.

Make it so that everyone tolerated everyone else's beliefs, except under the condition that if you choose choice two, there is a two percent chance that everything will backfire and go back to how it was, and you'll never have the chance to fix it again?

Hypothetically, both these choices would bring complete peace.

I've noticed A LOT of the same people that expound the infamous 'land bridge THEORY" are the same people that claim to be xtians.
I wonder how is it that they balance these things with each other. How do they claim THIS theory is FACT and in a second breath say all life came from adam and eve? and in yet another breath they go with all life came from africa. How do these people sleep at night with such conflicting ideals in their heads?

A polygamous Mormon stated this during a tv interview Thursday night. He was asked if he truly mean't this and he stated that it was part of the Mormon belief system. I had to think this was just his opinion not their church's teachings.

I've seen people have a conniption fit if someone uses a general four letter word (especially if the curser is a woman) but yet someone can call someone fat, ugly, stupid, a racial/sexual slur or make a very pointed personal remark about a person and no one gets up in arms about that. Would you kill all of your loving kids if one of them is such a bad kid?
If the God can do anything, he should be able to see the future too. He created us by knowing that he has to destroy all of us in the future?
He could make us perfect from the very beggining insted of made us wrong and has to be punished later on.

How this make sense?
