No it is not. One of Christ's greatest teaching in the Bible is the "Sermon on the Mount." Please review it very well and you will find out that the message on salvation was not in itself missed out.

No it has it's own purpose. The church as three missions: To proclaim the Gospel, perfecting the saints and redeem the dead. The message Jesus was giving was on how to live the Gospel. He was talking about what we are to do after we believe. The Plan of Salvation is part of proclaiming the Gospel. It is showing how Heavenly Father loves us, and wants us to return to Him. This is the message Jesus gave to Nicodemus. When he taught about sacrifice for sin then, He didn't mix in how to live the Christian life.

I see your point, but elsewhere He says that He is the way, the truth and the light and that the only path to God is through Him. Based on that, I would have to say that just forgiving is not enough, though it is an essential part of God's plan for our lives.
To me, believing in Jesus and accepting Him as the Son of God, also requires that I believe that He is my salvation. That is what He said.

You will never understand the mystery of the gospel by jumping in here and there. To fully understand the gospel of our Lord we need fully understand the sacrificial system in the Old Testament. Also Jesus said to Nicodemus in John 3:5 that if we don't believe in the water and the Spirit we will never enter the Kingdom of God. The water here means His babtism when He was babtized by John the Babtist in the Jordan River. Many Christians have no clue as to why Jesus was babtised, but we need to know that it was to take away the worlds sins from Adam to the very last person that would be living on this earth. That's why John the Babtist cried out or witnessed in a loud voice the day after He was babtised when he saw Jesus passing by, "There is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world ". He then carried all our sins for 3 years and then paid the penalty or the wages for our sins on that cruel Cross by crying out "It is finished". This is called the gospel of the water and the Spirit. This is the very gospel of the early church; and many of them were persecuted for this very faith, fed to lions, hung on crosses etc. But this true gospel started to wane under this incredible persecution. It was only after the Roman Emporer Constantine signed the edict of Nantes in 313 that all this suffering ended. But unfortunately the evil one through his servants made it so that the 'water' was left out in the true gospel and only the blood on the Cross was made the main belief, and so it is today also. The evil one knows that if people believe in the true gospel of the water and the Spirit they will become, holy, sinless and rightioues before God. Believing in the half-gospel of only the Cross results in people having sins in their hearts, and they have to forever offer up prayers of repentance as if He has to again be crucified over and over again, this is madness!! Sinners therefore will never be allowed into heaven, only sinless people who know and believe in the God given gospel of the water and the Spirit will be allowed there. If you would throw away any false faith and teachings you have so far attained and learn His gospel and believe in it with all of your heart, you will then be made a holy person and will be able to understand the Bible in its enterity as if the veil has been removed and everything has become plain. The Bible is not that easy to understand with unregenerated minds, but only through His righteousness which is only found in the gospel of the water and the Spirit.

The concept of Jesus becoming our sin would have been foreign to those He was preaching to at the time. Remember, it wasn't until the day of Pentecost that the Holy Spirit was sent to dwell within us as a result of Jesus' resurrection. Until that day, the concept of spiritual atonement without performing a physical/animal sacrifice would have only confused them. They would not and could not have understood it, because the presence of God in the form of the Holy Spirit was not within them to open the eyes of their understanding. So, to answer your question: No. Jesus laid down some concepts that his listeners could grasp and put into use in their daily lives.

lol, you would think so. Jesus was very wise and seemed to know what to say and when to say it, as with all charismatic and enigmatic speakers, it could just be that at that point in time the message of the road to salvation through acceptance of him as a personal savior would not have had the impact he needed for them to believe because they were still gently meeting and the world was rather rosy at that time.
