why do wiccans love evil so much. and how we hate god and such.
my question is ...
how can christians think that our beliefs and doctrine are evil when the only thing we teach is peace and tollorance of each other? ...and in fact that their own bible is the most violent book ever writtten?

I personally think so. The Dubya Administration is the most capricious of them all. He has been bestowed the ability to suspend Habeas Corpus, conduct a war under false pretenses, and be allowed the right to nullify the Bill of Rights. How in the world is he still in office? Clinton got in trouble for an affair and was impeached. Now this one has killed at least 700,000 people for personal reasons.

God literally slaughters anyone who "gets in his ways", from the great flood to the plagues of Egypt. How do we know that killing is bad or not, if the one who "gave" that law was practically doing it all the time. Don't say that "the lord giveth, and the lord taketh." Because it was our parents(in the act of freewill) that brought us to our existence. And don't even start with "god is mysterious" or "who are you to judge god". The question should be: "why didn't you judged/questioned god for all the evil things he did?"

My spouse had heart problems about 6 months ago which was really unusual because she is only 23. Months went by and no doctor could figure out any other means execpt a surgery to fix it. It didn't work and cost lots of money, 2 month after the surgery she told her friend that she had an eating disorder, bulimia. This was the true cause of her heart condition and she didn't want to face me or her family with this huge lie of hers and moved into her friends house and took all of her stuff. Me and her family included wanted her to simply get help though she decided to alienate us for the past 3 months. She hasn't given us much reason for this except that we are a huge stress in her life and cause her to stress eat. Not life, job, or her personal image, it was us who caused her stress that she needed to alienate. I've been limitlessly trying to contact her to give support but she is dropping her marriage of 4 1/2 years and saying she doesn't feel, and she might be lesbian. What should i do

My friend, "Adam" has been complaining for the last couple years that girls won't like him until he's 40 and they need somebody to take care of their children. Adam is intelligent, well-read, (I have to admit, he's also handsome), hard-working, and basically very mature for his age...and that's the problem. Girls at our age don't like guys like him. Now he said he's going to start dating guys, but I don't think you can change your sexuality. Can you???

I am fascinated by how people think we are somehow living in the "End Times" (cue scary music). We hear about people equating earthquakes, political unrest, religious intolerance, genocide, etc. as all foreshadowing (cue angelic singing) the return of Christ. Why? People seem to fail to realize that the only reason we know more about these things now is because we are living in a technological age, nothing more. The ability for information to make it to us has only made people THINK the end is coming. The world isn't in any more or less turmoil than it was 100 years ago, the only difference is the technology that allows us to kill ourselves and the ability to broadcast it live. Instead of living with this foolish notion, one should live as though the world will continue ad infinitum, thereby helping to preserve it for future generations. God's not coming, and neither is Satan. It's just us who ultimately will decide whether or not this world lives or dies, and by our hands alone.

God is supposedly all powerful. There is nothing he cannot do.

Can he create a rock that even he can't lift?

Remember that he is all powerful and that there is nothing he can't do....

Please answer the question, And don't try and stray from the point..

I'm from New Orleans, Louisiana. Many people from there are Louisiana Creoles or mixed with it. I know Creole isn't a race, but that's they term they used when they're mixed with Black, Indian, & French. My dad looks "Creole". He has straight, soft, & silky hair & light skin. My mom is Black. He so-claims to be Black, too. Later on in life, he told us that he wishes he was Black, but he's French & Indian. My mom is schizophrenic & tells us one day that we're mixed with Mexican & then the next day, she tells us that she has Turkish in her blood. I don't know what to believe. I really want to know what I'm mixed with, rather than going around, saying I'm Black. I wanna be proud of every heritage I'm mixed with. My mom & brothers & sisters tell me I'm immature for wanting to know what my heritage is, & they want me to believe I'm only Black, when I know I'm mixed. & they try to tell me lies, saying my dad isn't my dad, & that me & my twin sister have a nappy-headed dad.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the Christians are more about the dogma and with the Islam it is not just a religion but a way of life? Generalizing here with Christians, so please do not think you are a target, but in day to day living, according to a belief structure, the Islam do practice what they preach 9 times out of 10, they not only believe it and quote it, but it is incorporated in every aspect of their day to day, we may disagree with some things about the religion, but in a very real sense I respect the people that are so grounded in their faith. May we learn in our spiritual journey from the faithful in any religion. agree or disagree?

in my sphere of experience i have noticed that whenever we create something, something else is destroyed. If that be the case, how can someone follow the rede--"and it harm none, do as you will"--when they know that for every action they take, there is an opposite reaction, for every positive there is a negative and for every negative there is a positive? If for example i do a spell to get money, then in order for me to receive that money someone else has to lose it. wouldn't that harm the person who lost the money? This is why i do not follow the rede, because i do not believe you can.

PS i am pagan but not wiccan if anyone wonders :)

It seems to me that God is considered responsible for positive things, but he is not considered responsible for negative things.

If your home was on fire, you might pray. But you'd do more than pray--you'd call 911, if you could. And who would come? Firefighters. NOT God, though I'm sure you'll say he's there in spirit.

When the firefighters arrive, and save your life, you will likely thank them. However, you'll also likely thank God for the "miracle," and claim him the person to be thanked when telling your story.

But what if the firefighters didn't arrive? If they decided not to come, and you were to die, I GUARANTEE your family members would blame THEM, and NOT God.

So, let me get this straight: when people do something good, it's all thanks to God. But when they do something bad, it's all their fault. How is that fair?

So really, *WE* can't do anything good, by our own account. However, we can do bad things. Isn't that just setting us up for failure?

I actually find myself saying to people when they ask me how I know, I don't know I just know. I don't think its anything to do with re-incarnation I thought maybe spirit world impinging on my thoughts so instead of hearing them or seeing them they just give me thoughts, I would like to hear if anybody else has something similar happening to them, no psychosis wise cracks please.
