My friend, "Adam" has been complaining for the last couple years that girls won't like him until he's 40 and they need somebody to take care of their children. Adam is intelligent, well-read, (I have to admit, he's also handsome), hard-working, and basically very mature for his age...and that's the problem. Girls at our age don't like guys like him. Now he said he's going to start dating guys, but I don't think you can change your sexuality. Can you???

Sure you can. Who you have sex with is a choice, not something that happens because of the position of the stars.
Many men turn gay latter in life because the wife only does those two things once a month.
Look at people like Anne Heche. She changed. It happens all the time.

You can't. He's gay to start with. There is no age where women won't want him because he is mature.
But he's the same guy he was last week. So if you liked him then, you have no reason not to like him now.

Wow. Too bad he can't make a trade. There must be tens of thousands of gay guys out there who'd rather be straight.
But alas, "Adam" is stuck with his sexuality, just as we are with ours. He is perfectly capable of having sex with men, but he will never be fulfilled in a gay relationship.

You can change who you have sex with, but what fulfills you emotionally is something that can never be changed. So maybe guys are always what he wanted in the first place.
Hey, here's an idea...why don't the two of you hook up?

no, not unless he's bi to begin with. people like Anne Heche are bi, she herself said she was bi, therefore she likes both male and female."I have been very clear to everybody that just because I'm getting married does not mean I call myself a straight."

Can you? I'm sure you couldn't.
I couldn't ever have a relationship with a girl... there has to be some physical attraction.
