They speak words the way they hear them.
Plus, some don't want to be labeled as , 'trying to act white'

What sort of an accent are you speaking of? Everyone who speaks any language does so with an accent.

If you are referring to the "ebonics" accent obviously not all black people speak that way. To assume that is just as ignorant as assuming that all white people speak with a southern drawl. Some do, some don't. Area and culture are the key factors, not necessarily race.

Many black (African American) people come from the South, so the accent I think you mean is just them speaking with a bit of the southern twang, plus they also have their own lil' way of saying things called Ebonics. Fresh Africans from the continent or the Carribean would have the accent of whatever nation they were formally from.

LOL, it's not an accent UNLESS they are coming from another state then it's an accent and a variation of English.

ACTUALLY KANYE IS RIGHT. He just should've said it differently. What happens is ONCE mainstream begins to pick up on the slang it gets old, and then we have to come up with new neologisms. If you try and speak it too early then it sounds weird because everyone isn't in agreement.

For instance when the word FRESH came out everyone (the Black community) didn't take to it (enough of us wasn't using it to make it "legit" so to speak) So, then if you (whites) catch wind of it and begin to use it too early (meaning Blacks who made up the term haven't fully accepted it and established it as a cool saying) we quickly will let go of it and consider it whack.

AND WHAT BLACK COMEDIAN? I hope you weren't referring to KANYE, brotha raps.

Not all black people have an accent. It depends where they live. Also, people are like that everywhere.

What are you, 10?
It's called ebonics and not every African American uses it.
Everyone has an accent.
The accent depends on how they were raised to speak.
Seriously, look your **** up.

Accent is part of diversity. And why some has accent (not just black)... its what environment they have grown up into.
