Why do you believe in your god (Yaheweh, Jesus, God, Jealous, whatever you want to call it) despite the fact that there is no evidence for it? Do you also believe in unicorns?

to john d. there is no evidence to support the existance of any ofd the thousands of gods man has thought of. You say there is yet cannot provide a single piece, so your point is a nonpoint.

to maozyisrael, the onus is not on me to disprove your claim. it is on you to prove it. I can claim unicorns exist. It would not be up to you to disprove that claim. I pitty you.

There is plenty of evidence for the existence of God. Apparently, you've chosen to ignore it, but there is plenty of evidence.

The bible says that cows chew their cud not rabbits. It doesn't really matter if God exists or not right. You don't need to belittle people for their beliefs that just makes you a bully and it definately makes you immature too. You are no better than anyone else and we all have a right to believe what we want to believe we all have a right to live on this planet and not be judged by others. Does belittling people make you feel powerful, it just proves that you are weak.

No, I do not believe in unicorns; the reason
for that is because I have no reason to suspect that unicorns exist or have existed.
That said, if you find unicorn fossils, I will surely re-think my position. In addition, as
far as I know there are no unicorns reported in any of the Nations; again, should one appear I will re-think my position on unicorns.

As for God, I have evidence of jesus Christ and His flesh life on the Earth; also, I have evidence of the reality of God both in my heart and in my life. You too could see that evidence in your life if you choose to open your heart and mind to it.
If I turn my head, and refuse to look, I would also be uncertain that meadows or waterfalls exist. If I harden my heart, I would be uncertain that love exists.
A relationship with God is a very personal thing; it is up to you whether you want to examine its genuineness or not.
As for me, Christianity is not a religion, but
a reality.
Everyone gets to sail their own ship. God wants it that way, so that each soul will show their true colors. So you go ahead and sail your ship the way your heart takes
you, and I will continue to do the same with my ship.
Bon Voyage, Captain.

There is more historical secular evidence for Jesus Christ then there is for Plato's existence. I don't have a clue what you will accept as evidence. I have had personal experiences with GOD all my life. That is all the evidence that I need.

If you would like to find GOD you are welcome to look. If you want to just get on Yahoo Answers and mock us then by all means, be my guest.

How are you so positive there are no unicorns?

A person with an experience is NEVER at the mercy of a person with an argument !! An argument is ALL you have! What proof do you give for GOD not being real and if HE is not then why do you bother wasting the time to ask such a question??
You know the truth...you just aren't man enough to admit it and you want everyone else just as da**ed as you are. Sorry Charlie...not gonna happen. My GOD is real and HIS WORD IS TRUTH !!!!
Bye.

Jews were not carried out of captivity and returned to the land of Israel by a unicorn. Many specific prophecies were fulfilled in the name of the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Mary and Paul.

For you to equate the idea of God with that of a unicorn is a blatant example of wilfull ignorance. You will be held accountable for every thought you've ever had. You're own conscious will convict you. The Holy One in whom we live and move and have our being will ask you one question when you die, "Did you recieve my forgiveness?"

Because I look around at this world and I am amazed. The fact that we exist is amazing. The fact that we can think and see and have language is amazing. The fact that we have settlements and communications all over the world is amazing. The fact that this world has viable life covering it's many different climates is amazing.
Do you realize the chances of all of this developing because of an incredible series of coincidences? It's hard for me to fathom. Then again, so is the concept of God.
It's up to everyone to choose for themselves.

To answer your next question: No.

I just do. Too many things have happened in my life that make me believe. A wise man once said some things have to be believed to be seen. Proof of God is nonexistent. That is the point of faith. It's fine that you don't believe. That is your right and I respect that. Now, accord me the same respect. Drink.

I cannot look at the world, the heavens and all of creation without believing in God. I cannot study medicine and the workings of the body without marveling about intelligent design.

It is my understanding that quantum physics tells us that reality must include consciousness. The elemental particules of physics, the quarks, photons, etc.. are random in their arrangement. They only have order when consciousness is included in the equation. So for me science says the universe is the product of the consciousness of God. And I live and have my being within the mind of God.
