I believe that many beliefs are based on my beliefs. I am a pagan, and paganism cannot of course be based on Christianity as it predates it by many millenia. I also believe though that all paths are routes to the same place, which is why I believe in tolerance and everybody's right to follow their chosen beliefs.

Nothing like...
There are several great groupings of religions, with some basically incompatible core concepts.
( Professor Zaehner, once Oxford University professor of Eastern religions, firmly dismissed the idea that all religions are different paths to the same goal, )

Grace and Karma do not sit together easily, any more than one life and judgement sits well with reincarnation.

It might be odd for an atheist to recommend a book with this title, but a quite old volume: "The case for Christianity" by Colin Chapman (easily available second hand on-line) contains the best unbiased presentations (as far as I can tell), of all the major faiths and worldviews that I've ever found in one book.

Christianity was were God put together all peoples beliefs not the other way around, think about it...
1. The Old Testament is full of Muslim and Jewish Beliefs
2. When God incarnated he fulfilled the beliefs of the virgin birth, the Savior Holy Spirit found in Zoroastrianism, The Hindu God Krishna as God "In The Flesh"
3. His teachings were the same as Buddha's who was worshiped and many thought was God.
4. The law and family structure given to Moses is much like that of Confucius (although a little stricter)
God gave mankind all there beliefs in one book with his stamp of approval so all people could believe in The Holy Bible and be saved, easy as 1,2,3
Unfortunately do to ignorance of Church leaders as well as human beings who are prejudice most humans fail to see the significance of what God did.

No, all religions are not based on one. The various religions do not all stem from one source. Judaism, Islam, and Christianity all stem from the same chosen people of Israel, so they have many things in common, but there are loads of religions that have nothing to do with these 3.

I hope I am right with this analogy.

I know that Christian, Jews and Muslims all started out as one religion then Ishmael and Isaac were born. After that the muslims branched off one way under Ishmael and the jews the other way under Isaac. Some jews eventually became christians so jews and christians are on the same branch.

That doesn't make much sense, when you consider that many religions are much older than Christianity. How could Hinduism, Buddhism, or Asatru be based on Christianity, when they were around for hundreds of years before the birth of Christ?

Religion was here before Jesus. Religion was here before the old testament. Religion is a blessing and a curse.People can't seem to live without it but they always end up killing each other over it. Isn't that just dandy?

...actually the christian beliefs were adopted if you will from many other pagan beliefs.
if you really study then you will see that the pagans were around long before christians or a single god were thought of and you will notice that there are many similarities between them and christianity.

I believe all stem from one and that religion is the same as taught to Adam and Eve, the same one Christ taught and the same one restored to the earth in 1830 to the prophet Joseph Smith.
