Other religions are fine... for other people.

I don't really think about them too much. I've read a fair bit about Budhism and also Hinduism and more recently about Islam. I find it interesting but I really like reading and learning about Christianity through time. I think it'll take a whole lifetime to learn about this faith tradition so I won't likely read too much about other religions.

I respect other people's viewpoints and their choice of what religion they choose. I enjoy having discussions with people about what they believe and, specially, their allowing me to state my religious beliefs as well.

I think most, if not all, religions have wonderful and truthful aspects...just not the "whole" gospel as does the LDS - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I do not think other religions are necessarily "wrong" just not completely correct.
I think there are wonderful and faithful people in every religion.

I think Hugo Chavez gives a bad name to Socialists.

If we assume that God created the Universe and Adam and Eve we can then assume that God spoke with Adam, and others, and explained his basic ideas.

These basic ideas were transported by people as they spread around the world, which is why there is so much common ideology in religion.

We can also assume that some people we so alienated from their original cultures that they developed their own ideologies.

However, since we believe in God we must also assume that God was working in the lives of all of these people. attempting to direct them in his path without forcing them.

People do what they want, so not everyone followed the path God gave them. Many twisted the interpretation of it. Even on YA! we see a lot of different interpretations of scripture and ideas in scripture.

That means, as mentioned in 2nd Timothy 3:16 (Got to love that whole 3:16 thing) All Scripture is from God.

Only Christ is good for salvation.

The LDS 11th Article of Faith

We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

I think that what I think about them is really immaterial.

First, there are so many religions that I know I know nothing real about, becuase I have not taken the time to ask people about what they believe, how they practice, what they base their ethics, on, etc.

Second, how I TREAT people of other religions is FAR more important - I don't have to know anything much about them in order to do what Jesus said to do:

"Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."

I would not think it was loving of my neighbor to try to talk me into abandoning my choice to follow Jesus, so it would not be loving of me to try to get them to abandon their choice to follow their religion.

If they follow the word of God I have no problem with them. It's the ones who want to do their own things and misinterpret the bible for their own gain that bothers me.
