This question has always perplexed me. You don't carry the dump around with you afterwards but flush it. You are getting rid of the dump not taking it. The new vernaculuar should be "I'm deciding to LEAVE a dump".

A woman told me that her neighbor next to her, was a problem, she said she prayed to god, that this woman die. One month later the woman was killed walking home, she was hit by a truck. The details are so terrible, then when the mother found out, she died with in days, from a heart attack. This woman claims other deaths have been, cause she prayed to god they would die.
This woman now boasts that her god did this for her, she says she is a christian. Please do not mock this, this is true, And I am very confussed, as I would wish for no one to die. I have always thought christians to love, never to wish death. Please tell me, is she really a christian???

I've noticed that no other religion strikes up more opposers and nay-sayers than Jehovah's Witnesses on these web sites. I know they do alot of stuff that most people see as bothersome or intrusive. But the reality is is that out of ALL the religions of the world they are the only ones who really show love toward their fellow man.Example..they don't go to war. Most would argue "well its my patriotic duty to kill another human if my country calls for it".It wouldn"t bother most people to go and kill another catholic, muslim, baptist ext..even if they are one themselves. Doesn't Jesus say that the identifing mark among true christians would be the LOVE amongst themselves(John 13:35).I notice too that no matter how much you inform people of what JW's believe, people still get on here(and other sites) and continue to mis inform other people. You know I'm not a JW.But I am a person who desires to have a better understanding and relationship w/ God.

When I was a practicing Christian, about the worst thing to me was going to church. An hour or two of extreme boredom, with just enough pointless rituals to keep me from nodding off.

I'd ask the people going to church with me if they enjoyed themselves, and they would ALWAYS assert that they did, even if they looked just as bored as I was. Then I'd ask them, "If it's so much fun, why don't you go three or four times a week?" They'd always give some tired rationalization that didn't even sound sincere--as if God were going to strike them with a thunderbolt if they were honest about what they really thought about church.

So, I ask you True Believers: do you really enjoy going to church (temple, etc.)?

Could he be some powerful politician existing right now or behind the scenes in some powerful organisation. I believe that by the way the planet is headed both socially and enviornmentally that it can't be long until Jesus comes back. The Anti-Christ, therefore, would have to be around just slightly before that time for the Book to be correct.

They talk as though Darwin is the father of atheism even though he was agnostic.

On youtube, they only watch videos that seem to justify their worldview (like 'Fred Phelps' or 'Richard Dawkins') and completely avoid those that bring to light compelling scientific grounds for divine intelligence (like Lee Strobel).

They ignore all the death and destruction that atheist philosophies have caused in history and even try to spin Hitler into a christian.

They like to claim that the institutions that killed and persecuted people in earlier centuries were christian even though they know full well that they were not following Jesus' commandments.

Etc, etc. It seems a lot of atheists are far from 'rational' or 'reasonable'.

If you think about it, then atheists have to believe something, otherwise they would be agnostics. If you're Christian, what do you think that atheists believe?

Why do we do it? Does God keep a tally of who prays for who? I don't believe it but wonder what you think. If I forget to pray for someone, does that mean they get one less vote???What I am really asking is why does God want us to pray for others? He knows their needs without hearing from us. We arn't so important that He wants our nod to bless thwem.

I have heard numerous times from Christians in R&S that they believe Zeus, Thor, Allah, and other gods are real - they are just other names for Satan. Do many Christians believe this? If so, isn't that extremely intolerant and demeaning of others' faiths?

A week ago I made a presentation, and after I gave presentation, the audience were pleased to give comments or question.
one of audience asked a question, but before he asked, he said:
"Thanks for the interesting presentation, but the presenter is more interesting" and he smiled.
I felt disrespected by that man. I think he didn't appreciate my presentation at all, and that comment sounded so rude to me.

I just guess that man thinks women like to be appreciated their appearance more than their intelligence.

A royal who converts to Catholicism or who marries a Catholic is banned from the Throne of England.( a reaction to James II)
The male heir could marry the daughter of Osama Bin Laden or that of the Great Leader of North Korea or the head of the Ku Klux Klan- anything but a Catholic.

I think it is an embarrassing anachronism and an insult to all the Catholics of the UK

Many people think of Pagans as simply "Wiccan" but the neoPagan movement is also closely related to Asatru, Native American beliefs and others.

What do you consider to be "Pagan"?
