Many, many times
with people of many different faiths.
and for the most part, I usually end up feeling very good about doing so.

granted sometimes we both *want* a healthy debate,
and sometimes things get heated.
but most of the time it's no problem to DISCUSS without debating.

I've discussed different ideas in different religions more now as an atheist than when I was a Christian. But so many Christians believe half or more of their church is going to hell, so within any church itself there are differences. As a part of my former belief as a Christian we believed in believing the same thing and we didn't. One lady that was my friend had a massage area and healing center that didn't cater to any specific belief but discussed different faiths. She put an add in the newspaper using her own money and invited ministers on the phone to discuss common themes of love. When two ministers finally came the yelled at her and badgered her saying they knew that she was a lady who was involved in occult activities and was of the devil (which wasn't true), you can just imagine. When I saw her again she looked like she had seen the horrors of war. Religion so often divides more than it unites.

No, but I have lurked on message boards and learned a lot about other beliefs that way, mostly Muslim. It was for my education only. I was curious, although I am firm in my Christian belief.

My stepbrother is a minister, and I lived with him for quite some time. We've had many conversations about his beliefs.

Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to do this with anyone other than a Christian. It's a small town.

Yeah, tonight actually. Sat down with a Christian girl and explained Wicca because she wanted to know.

Yes many times, even though I may not share in their believes, it is their choice not mine. I respect others rights to celebrate birthdays, Christmas and whatever, but just respect that I do not celebrate these occasions.Hey I hope they have fun but just leave me out of those things,

Yes. And she taught me how to give a massage. We never got into it about her beliefs against mine. Neither one of us wanted to convert, and we were fine about that.
