Saint Nicholas of Myra is the primary inspiration for the Christian figure of Santa Claus. Pagans try to make every thing out to be their idea.
Ive never heard that Santa is like Jesus. I heard that Santa is like God. Santa brings gifts to good little girls or boys. God gives gifts to those who are worthy. Santa has a list and God has a book of life. Santa has elves and God has angels.

No, Santa is not a representation of Jesus. They aren't similar at all. In fact, Santa is an anagram of Satan.
Coincidence???
Well, maybe it is. But they aren't alike at all.
One is about saving the eternal souls of mankind, and the other is about giving stuff away for good behavior. Where's the similarity in that? Nowhere. . . .

santa gives presents to kids just like God gave us baby Jesus as a gift to the world (haven't you ever seen the prayer card with santa with his hat off and kneeling to the baby Jesus?) and chick fil a i'd keep it real or keep it quiet but in no way was santa meant to replace God infact he was originally there to teach children about the joy and spirit of giving. now he has become too commercialized but i know there are still some homes where santa means giving. remember santa is St. Nicholas who is a saint!

no. they arent similar. santa claus isnt even for real. santa claus does not have a beard or reindeers or brings presents. santa claus came from a dutch myth? story? and his name was cinder klaus. or something. and coca cola made up an image for santa claus and that is what we think of to be santa claus today.

Santa is a representation of several pagan figures. One is odin. There is no such real person as santa.

Santa is not CHRIST
Santa reportedly only gives gifts to good littl girls and boys.
Christ's gifts are available to all that accept him as Lord, and ask for his grace and forgiveness.
