When you lie to keep from hurting someones feelings, ie: that dress looks great on you, or you have a beautiful baby.

Everyone has a different "comfort level" when it comes to telling lies. So I think it's OK when *you* can live with the lie you plan to tell and any potential results of the lie.

Hi aussiebudz,
The only time to lie is when calling into work to play hooky when it's hot & sunny & I am do for a sick day at the lake.
I do keep secrets from my mother about my older brothers & sister lies (I just don't volunteer this information is all).
When one starts lying it's like habit they forget & then get caught up in their own lies sometimes lies from others

Additional Details: I think there's a commendment! about lying but it's been awhile since I was a good Catholic girl. Do to non-demo church-help your neighbors.

when you're too tired to sit up or need serious sleep oh just kidding actually that touches upon an interesting point . why is there no such thing as justifiable perjury . and those azzoles that can't get over their insincerity should go back to remedial English class .an occasional left handed compliment is great for those with such talent but usually its only a left handed annoyance .

i would say never because society as a whole is best served if everyone were honest all the time.
but its okey to bend the truth a little if its for the greater good and making everyone feel better.
such as answering more positive than truthfully when a girl asks about her appearance.
or simply by not saying anything negative as long as your not asked.

only if its to help someone feel better like if a girl asks does this make me look fat u say no if she asks does this make me look skinny u say yes even though in both situations she is fat
