I've noticed that no other religion strikes up more opposers and nay-sayers than Jehovah's Witnesses on these web sites. I know they do alot of stuff that most people see as bothersome or intrusive. But the reality is is that out of ALL the religions of the world they are the only ones who really show love toward their fellow man.Example..they don't go to war.Most would argue "well its my patriotic duty to kill another human if my country calls for it".It wouldn"t bother most people to go and kill another catholic,muslim,baptist ext..even if they are one themselves. Doesn't Jesus say that the identifing mark among true christians would be the LOVE amongst themselves(John 13:35).I notice too that no matter how much you inform people of what JW's believe, people still get on here(and other sites) and continue to mis inform other people.You know I'm not a JW.But I am a person who desires to have a better understanding and relationship w/ God.

Of course here comes the apostates the right hand of satan himself. I am studying w/JW's so I am well informed.Thank you for proving my point lost lamb

your right alot if not all apostates try to grasp at whatever they can to try to justify why they turned their back on Jehovah. I've been on both sides of the fence I was raised a JW(never baptised) but left during my mid teens.I was publicly removed as a publisher. I used to sit and think of all the ways I wanted kill the elders. But one day thank God it hit me it's not the elders or anybody else in the congregation I have to impress only Jehovah.And this is the ONLY visable organization he is using.Yeah your right the organization is filled with alot of imperfect people.But last time I checked so is the rest of the world.This is the best he has to work w/.And yes there are many who do down right dispicable things no doubt.Wolves in sheep clothing as described in the bile.But you know what I had to get over myself.And I suggest you do the same.Think about it if people of this world who know nothing of Jehovah are asking if the END is near.What is that saying.Think about it before ITL

If I had the time I would point out all the other things that they are exclusive on, but here are a few


They are the only religion who calls for a member to die over a faulty blood transfusion doctrine.

They are the only religion who will kick you out, and deny access to friends and family, for questioning doctrine / or looking into the information not approved by a company (the watchtower bible and tract society)

I think they are the only religion to alter the Bible into a book that you can not find Gods gospel in.

First of all your story is fabricated. Jehovah's Witnesses do not have a pastor, they do not baptize anyone on the spot and baptisms do not take place even at their church site. So, if you are very serious about not wanting them to come to your door, call their church at the times posted they will be there and give your name and address and let them know you do not want them at your door. No I promise you Witnesses go through a process before baptism. And you have to answer questions before hand. Baptisms take place at their conventions or assemblies they have several times a year, not at their church or at homes. Witnesses are widely known for knocking on doors at inconvenient times and sometimes you have those over zealous ones who keep talking, but a firm no and shutting the door does work. I know of several churches in my area that go from door to door, including Mormons (which you have to answer questions after studying and attending church for some time to become a member), Seventh Day Adventist, and some small Baptist churchs. If these people are harassing you, tell them you will call the police on them. Write a formal letter asking them not to come to your home, get it notorized, and make a copy. Send it to them. If they come, then call the cops. Sorry to hear this is going on with you!! Actually, you might want to report this to the city because they could be a fraud ring tyring to get your financial information. These people aren't Jehovah's Witnesses.

My ex-wife was a JW before she divorced me. They told her she would be an adulteress the rest of her life. She doesn't seem to mind and probably thinks she's been forgiven by now anyway.I met a few and really didn't think they were all that much different from other people. They still have to live in the same world with many of the same problems we do.

I asked a younger JW what would be his favorite holiday. He thought about it and said: "Halloween" I said: "HALLOWEEN?!" He said: "Yeah, that's when we don't answer the door."

What I see for example in people like unsilenced lamb is that she doesn´t have any hope, and that is why even she claim that is happy it is easy to see she is not, her pride doen´t let her admit the true I have seen her answer and never speak about the purpose of God or about love, Jesus didn´t spend his time with pharisee he preached the purpose of God and love for everybody but this lady is not like Christ.

I"ve studied with them on and off. Your are right the are one of the most hated religions out there. But the bible did say that the true followers of Christ would be hated like he was. Makes you wonder about the rest doesn't it? unsilenced lamb is definitely a hater / apostate.

I am most Christians worst nightmare. I was born, raise and ordained in the Christian faith. Now I am an Atheist. Trust me when I say, the Bible is a damn POOR thing to quote when you are trying to make a point. There is absolutely NOTHING in that book that is not contradicted somewhere else in that book.

BTW, Cassius Clay filed for conscientious objector status because he converted to Islam. It was denied, he went to jail, now there is dedication. Oh yeah, isn't Islam the faith of 9/11 airplane pilots??? The religion of peace???

All religions have holes big enough to drive trucks through; most times side by side...

hello I am JW and the only religion that tell you what will happen with this planet after Armagedon, what is the purpose of God with this planet are JWS , if you ask other religious group what happen with the earth after Armagedon? you will notice that none of them will give you an answer that is clear, the main topic of the whole bible that is the restoration of God purpose on this planet and the majority if churchs doesnt teach that.

It is true that JWs don't kill their opposition and that's because they are too busy killing their own by telling them to refuse blood transfusions.
