I am looking for a "religion" that will help me to find the purpose and reason for my life, help me to become more spiritual, and doesn't demand that I assume a facade by claiming to adhere to a bunch of man-made dogmas and rituals which to me are totally ridiculous and illogical. In summary, I am looking for a "religion" which will accept me as I am and help me to grow in spirituality, understanding, compassion, and knowledge.

You've seen it in the movies and in the news. In Europe and Japan the drivers drive in the left lane. The drivers seat is also built on the right side as opposed to the left like our American cars.

U say that Adam and eve were created sinless and perfect but cause of free will they choose to sin. So my questions are:
1. If God gave humans free will why did he got angry when they used it?
2. When u get to "heaven" will u have free will, if yes then will u be able to sin in heaven?

Luke 17 speaks of Son of man vengeance, specifically the Noahic and Sodomic sort of "destruction" for "them all" who go with sacrifice instead of I will have mercy, and not sacrifice. Not to mention all who will live godly in CJ (reverse of JC) shall "suffer": 2Tim 3;12; And not to mention the day of the LORD is darkness, not light: Amos 5:18; And not to mention law imputed sin, when "it is finished" brings forth death(not life): 1Cor 15:56; Jam 1:15.

TLC noted flooding is the most disaster us of all the natural(law) disasters; But TWC notes Heat Waves are even more destructive than flooding is; As Heat Waves send more people to hospitals: 16% more every day of a Heat Wave. And going to the hospital is the #2 cause of death in America, going to the doctor being #1. Heat Waves exasperate medical conditions already existing, tormenting those already suffering even more, even unto the ultimate goal of law: the ministration of death... extinction by law instead of salvation by grace.

I don't know how often I've seen in here someone trying to explain to us what a "theory" is, in science, by telling us that we can test a scientific theory by falling off the roof...
So, how is citing "The Law of Gravity" giving us any information about what a "scientific theory" is?
And how does that have anything to do with the skeletons in the closet?
Or, more to the point, the empty hangers where skeletons ought to be??

She is VERY heavy set, so its hard for her to move to the bathroom. Her legs rub together when she walks. It is as if she is scooting her feet and not picking them up to walk. She woobles when she walks. She can't excuss her self.

Any way. I feel bad for her and I always get her vitals for her every night ( she is a nurse ). She can't bend over all those people. well, usually it takes her 7 or 8 times to get out of her chair .......seriously......rock back and forth in your chair that many times to get what I'm talking about. It looks almost as if she is humping the chair. When she tries and does get up, she goes on a rampage farting chain. I tried not to laugh b/c I didn't want to look immature....and embarrasse her.

She could be walking to her chair/med-cart and with every step be passing gas. I wouldn't have any problems if her passing gas didn't smell so bad.

It smells like the cows are comining in from herford texas..and a mix of bad breath.

OH WHAT TO DO?!?!

Jehovah Witness:Basic Theology
God is a single being, not a Trinity. He is not all-knowing or present everywhere.First, God created Michael the Archangel, through whom God later created all other things, such as the earth, the universe, and all mankind. This took place over exactly 42,000 years. When it was time for the birth of a savior, Michael became a man, in the form of Jesus Christ. He was without sin and kept every law of God. Jesus was put to death on a torture stake. It is here that He bore the sins of all mankind (except for Adam).Later, Jesus rose from death in spirit, but did not rise in physical form.Followers are then asked to maintain a modest appearance & demeanor, refusing to vote in government elections, salute the American flag, join the U.S. armed forces, or celebrate birthdays and Christmas. Outside the organization,Christendom is considered demonic.Christianity is deemed apostate, filled with pastors who are antichrists, in churches run by Satan, who support the governments.

If you think about it correctly, a God is a male, and a Goddess is a female. Some of those people who think God is a female, are wrong. He would have to be called Goddess to be a female. Now doesn't that make sense?

Mitt Romney is nothing but a very expensive empty suit, and a pretty worthless one, ethically-speaking, at that. He's a multi-millionaire (possibly a billionaire) who's setting himself up as the "best" president money can buy.

Not only is the Iowa Straw Poll unbinding, but it also is TOTALLY **purchaseable**. Technically, it costs a person $35 to vote in the Straw Poll -- but almost NO one does. They allow the candidates' campaigns to pay that fee, in return for those candidates getting their votes. Romney spent countless millions on TV ads and large, slick, 4-color postcards with which we Iowans were inundated. Then he bussed people in to Ames from all over the state, to vote for him in the Straw Poll. Is the rest of America AWARE of just HOW substantially Romney's multi-million-dollar FIX was in, in the Straw Poll -- and thus, just how MEANINGLESS his phony-baloney "victory" was? What do you, beyond Iowa, think?

Obviously, there are profound differences between the theory of evolution and the Genesis creation account. Those who accept evolution contend that creation is not scientific. But in fairness, it could also be asked: Is evolution itself truly scientific?

2007-08-12 03:50:21 · 11 answers · asked by flannelpajamas1 4 in Religion & Spirituality

Atheist love to stand behind evolution and laugh at Christians for believing a God created them.

I guess believing that some strange scientific force made birds fly, which requires knowledge of aerodynamics, and eyes to see, which requires bending of light, and ears to hear, requiring manipulating of sound waves....
all by blind chance, kind of like a poem forming in the clouds by chance...

is more probable then the idea that a great supreme GOD who has knowledge and power and wisdom put all this together.

So what do Evolutionist believe? No one knows. They keep changing their theory.
And this week the idea of us coming from apes is being challenged and maybe even thrown out.

see for your self...
