Atheist love to stand behind evolution and laugh at Christians for believing a God created them.
I guess believing that some strange scientific force made birds fly, which requires knowledge of aerodynamics, and eyes to see, which requires bending of light, and ears to hear, requiring manipulating of sound waves....
all by blind chance, kind of like a poem forming in the clouds by chance...
is more probable then the idea that a great supreme GOD who has knowledge and power and wisdom put all this together.
So what do Evolutionist believe? No one knows. They keep changing their theory.
And this week the idea of us coming from apes is being challenged and maybe even thrown out.
see for your self...

>I guess believing that some strange scientific force made birds fly, which requires knowledge of aerodynamics, and eyes to see, which requires bending of light, and ears to hear, requiring manipulating of sound waves...
What do you mean by 'some strange scientific force'? Birds fly because they have the instinct to and they have wings and feathers which allow them to. It's just biology and aerodynamics, there's nothing particularly 'strange' about it.
>So what do Evolutionist believe? No one knows. They keep changing their theory.
You're criticizing evolutionists by claiming that they often modify their theories as to the origins of certain species just because new evidence has come up. In other words, you say that because an evolutionist found a new fossil that meant something different about evolution, and modified their theories based on that new fossil, then there is something wrong with evolutionists and/or with belief in evolution. But stop for a moment...compare this with creationists, who do NOT change their theories in the light of new evidence, who have stuck with pretty much the same crap for thousands of years. Evolutionists, even if they are not always 100% right, at least have the sense to rethink things when something new pops up. Creationists, however, don't.
>GEE and why am I not an evolutionist???
Because your giant imaginary friend told you not to be, of course!

Did you guys read the whole article? Here's a tidbit:
Susan Anton, a New York University anthropologist and co-author of the Leakey work, said she expects anti-evolution proponents to seize on the new research, but said it would be a mistake to try to use the new work to show flaws in evolution theory.
"This is not questioning the idea at all of evolution; it is refining some of the specific points," Anton said. "This is a great example of what science does and religion doesn't do. It's a continous self-testing process."

Evolutionist is NOT a word. Therefore everything you said is invalid after because you can't even get that simple fact right. However, I will address the other idiocy... here's a little hint for you... the change in the evolutionary time scale regarding human beings is the first one made in about 50 years.
Grow up.

Wow, so original. Read an article about a subject that you don't understand, written by a writer who understands it only slightly better than you and then draw false conclusions from it. Ironically, you're doing the christian thing; mangling the writings of others to suit yourself. This wouldn't be so bad if you weren't the 500th person to draw the wrong conclusion from that article, and then post a retarded question. Bravo, pat yourself on the back.

That article has been posted on here a million times in the past week. The Search function is located on every page in YA for you're convenience and browsing pleasure.
And BTW--just because you personally do not understand evolution does not negate it.
EDIT: OK, cupcake, where's your proof that you AREN'T wrong?

Yes you have got it, science is ever changing! Well done.
And rather typically you have completely missed the point of the research.
Edit:
And why do you not understand that it is a strength of science that it is continually changing, that it is the weakness of religion that it tries to hold to truths that we now know to be false.
Edit Again:
Nice ad hominem getting desperate I see.
Yes that which I know to be true is almost certainly false in its finest details, I have no problem with that, however it is also almost certainly closer to the truth than that which you hold to be true.

Haha, wow. Changing a view when given new evidence is not a vice, its actually a virtue. Evolutionists, unlike christians, are actually willing to accept new evidence to ADVANCE their beliefs. Imagine if new evidence showed that god could not possibly exist. Would you say it would be wrong for christians to change their views? I mean, after all, that would be changing their opinions?! god forbid! (irony intended.)
Maybe you should take a page from evolutionists instead of mocking it.

u require faith and believe everything
we require evidence
the difference is that righteous people dont know when to stop, they believe on faith and call it proof....
we demand data and continue to learn as more information is discovered
btw, thanks for your understanding in allowing me to have my opinions which may disagree with yours, as it is important that people are allowed to not have something shoved down their throat...
JD ur gonna need ur religion b/c ur not open minded, ur self-righteous and arrogant.....ur afraid of the truth...u fit right in...as a matter of fact u remind me of our President...GOD BLESS
