Three times this week.

I open the door, politely say "No thank you", point to my "No Soliciting" sign, smile big and tell them to have a nice day and close the door before they can speak.

In most parts of the United States, each congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses has a daily "meeting for field service" at either 9:am or 9:30am. They discuss a daily text, review a few points concerning the ministry, assign partners and territories, and then pray for holy spirit. In most places, Witnesses approach their first doors at either 9:30am or 10:am.

The United States branch office of Jehovah's Witnesses recommends that local congregations do not plan to call at homes earlier than 9:am, unless there is a prior appointment. When unhappy householders complain that "Jehovah's Witnesses" call at unreasonable times of the day, the householders should perhaps ask themselves exactly why they believe it must have been genuine Witnesses who knocked or rang the doorbell.

costly Josh, do no longer play with them. that may not serve any stable purpose and could backfire on you in the long-term. My mom grew to become a jw until eventually now i became born yet i'm so grateful that my dad raised me in a Christian church. I used to receive numerous classes from my mom and people who come to my door yet i did no longer study them until eventually long once I had study the Bible from conceal-to-conceal. That gave me a stable foundation for locating at their cloth and finding it desiring. Now whilst they do come to my door I answer in a well mannered way if I even have time and whilst they provide me their supplies I tell them that i do no longer trust what they could say. whilst they ask for specifics I tell them that Jesus became by no ability Michael and that i think that Jesus is LORD. whilst they insist that they have got a e book that proves that Jesus became Michael I tell them no the Bible proves He wasn't. whilst they insist I study their e book I tell them that i'll study their cloth provided that they are going to study my cloth. Then I supply them (as quickly as I even have the pamphlet) An Open Letter to Jehovah's Witnesses written via Roy Zuck. I additionally supply them some thing i've got revealed from the internet. One fact Exposes 1000 Lies - features Shared between Jehovah and Jesus. See source container related to this staggering chart somebody mentioned "i could say it somewhat is a suspiciously extreme form of traits that Jehovah and Jesus share. and because Jehovah God won't share His glory with all and sundry (Isaiah forty two:8) it kind of feels unusual that the two have an analogous features via and via." related to your stance on faith i'm no longer in contact, regardless of the undeniable fact that it would not sound such as you have a Realtionship with God via Jesus Christ and that does issue me. I don't mind. I used to go door-to-door to get support for environmental issues, so I understand a little of what they're going through.

I usually offer use of my bathroom and a drink of water. I'll tell them I'm willing to read their literature, but it's probably nothing I haven't seen before. I also tell them they won't convert me after a five minute conversation.

They're just doing what they believe is right, so I don't think it's fair for me to be mean to them. Also, it's a pretty hard job; especially when wearing suits in 80 degree weather, and they're usually pretty nice.

I haven't seen one in a long, long time. It must have something to do with the apartment complex I live in during the academic year, plus I'm sure they're not allowed to come on grounds at school.

If one came, I probably wouldn't answer since I'm happy in my belief system. I've investigated theirs and many others and simply don't agree with them. But, that doesn't mean that I don't support their (constitutional) right to knock at people's doors. If that's what their religion/conscience demands, that's fine with me.

I ask LOTS of questions. The last time they came we talked for over 1/2 hour, then a car with other JW's came by and they left.A good starting question:"You came to my door because you believe you are in the true faith,is this correct?"When they say "yes",show them 2 Corinthians 13:5,then ask "Do you have Jesus Christ in you?"Do you pass the bible test?

Hasn't happened to me in 20 years. Of course, I've been in jail since then for assaulting a Jehovah's Witness who came knocking on my door. Just kidding

Yeah they knock pretty frequenly. All I do is wear my satanic jewlery and symbols and answer the door. They usually just try to start talking but then they start shaking and getting nervous. Once one of them pulled a cross on me. I'm not really a satan worshiper but its a fun way to make them go away.

Well generally we don't come to people's doors before 10am, so I don't have that problem. I answer the door, Hi brother/sister.

I bought a cross and put it in my flower bed. I haven't had anyone knock on my door since. I am Catholic and happy with this, and it does annoy me that they came by my house. So, I fixed it and bought a cross!!
