someone starts reading out of a different translation?

Is it just me, or when you are asked how you are you say something like 'I'm fine thankyou' (keyword being thankyou). I hate when people don't say it, and here was me thinking it was polite to have manners! Is it just me or does it annoy anyone else when people don't say it???

yes you need a home and maybe 2 or even 3 homes right. yes you need money to spend and enjoy life somewhat

but you see , rich people are never satisfied . They want more and more, and the more they earn the more greedier they become

but i suppose we all are like that in someway right

now what can a humanbeing do with millions of cash in his / her bank account?

where does greed end?

Adam and Eve were the first people on earth (according to the bible). The had 2 children Cain and Able. Cain kills Abel, and was banished. He ended up in "the Land of Nod". Junked around there for a bit and is later mentioned as fathering a lineage of children, and founding a city, which he named Enoch after the name of his son.

Please point out the glaring irregualrity in this story.

Everytime I talk to a Christian I ask this question. If God created the universe then who created God? And I always get oh he was just there answer.So please give me some logical answers who created God?

Christians say we sin because of the sinful nature we have inherited from Adam... All of us are born with this alleged sinful nature.
Jesus, on the other hand, did not inherit it because of his special birth...

Now this makes any pious man better than Jesus... at least he has to fight his sinful nature all the time. Jesus had no reason to sin.

My brother says I should hide from them(It gets bad when my brother says to hide from some one he likes bring around people) Some people answered the question I asked yesterday saying that I should not let them in my home?

What do they do that makes people say this, do they stay all day or something?

What do you guys think I should do? I really want more opinions about this.

If you were about to have an important transition in your life, what is the best way to inform people? This would be an event such as:
pregnancy, engagement, promotion or termination, a death, you're coming out of the closet, you realised your were adopted, etc.

Is email an appropriate way to send and receive this information? Is Snail Mail more appropriate? Would it be more proper to make telephone calls instead? Should these things be reported in person (if possible)? How would you do it?

If unbelief is a religion, then why can't I have a tax-free house to live in?

A BIG one, with a steeple and loud bells, and a large hall where I can preach my message -- oh, and maybe a few statues of Dawkins and Darwin that, once a year on Easter Sunday, weep real tears.

I saw something on TV about a festival in Glastonbury celebrating the mother Godess. It was all pretty flowers and colourful garments, singing, dancing and chanting. But, nature is cruel and savage as well as beutyful. A Godess of nature would also have a very dark aspect as well as a beutyful one, this was not reflected in the programe.

Ok, im not critising or taking the mick, but i came across this as i was reading the bible online, Mary was 12-13 when see married Joseph according to matt 2:1, who he was 40-90 according to christian scholars, but before the marriage, Mary conceived Jesus at the age of 11-12, God said he planted his seed in her womb, according to catholic gospels,Matthew,Luke,Mark and John.

Why Did God Choose a 11-12 year old ????
