God is self-existent. This means that He had no creator, but always exists, unchanging, from before time until after its end.

The answer is perfectly logical. You are the one that is being illogical. The question you are asking is a regressive one. Regression is only possible to the point of infinity. After that, you must admit that you have reached a point at which further regression is impossible. And that leaves you with essentially 2 choices. Either you must admit that the Beginning (or God or whatever you want to call it) was self-created or you must admit that your system of logic is flawed and that there must be a better way to get to the answer, but that you have not yet found it.

Here is how it works. So, you ask, who created God. I say, A created God. So then you ask who created A. Then I say B created A. And on and on. Where does it end? One way to end it is to say that God created everything and nobody created God. Another way is to say that nothing exists, so it doesn't matter, anyway. Yet another way is to admit that logic does not work when trying to find the answers to certain types of questions.

So.......you want a logical answer.....
You really want a logical answer ???

HA! i cant give you a logical answer , and i am no christian, BUT ,i can give you a Logical Theory (theory, because if i know the truth,i will be rich!) of who created god.

Let us assume that the gods as we known are living beings living in another planet.
Imagine that the humans created a new species of animal in the lab , then that species can call us gods.
So there will be a few theory here.

Theory 1---the creator of creator

If the species we created call us gods, then they can assume that what created their gods were our gods, thus, we can also assume that, what created our gods were the gods of our gods.

Theory 2---the natural occurrence

Our gods may be created or occurred through the theory (i forgot what its called) that was mentioned in the bill bryson's book ,A Short History Of Nearly Everything, of which it mention (i am typing roughly) that particles of different compounds and elements, under a certain pressure and heat, came together and they eventually form cells. these cells ,mutate and combine to form different species of living things ,and in this theory,i assume that they might became our god---who intentionally created us.

As you said God created the universe, can you tell me where the universe begins, can you tell me where it ends, can you tell me how big the universe is exactly? Well the one who created the universe you will not understand him either, he created the universe and he created time, so, then there was never a time when he did not exist and I don't expect you to understand all that, if you did you wouldn't be asking,God was not created, but he is the Creator of everything in existence!Nothing exists that could have created God.It is impossible for a human mind to understand that God has no beginning because you have a beginning everything has a beginning, but God the one who created all things has no beginning.

Why does it logically follow that if God created the universe, somebody created God? A God who "always was" can have created the universe. A God who "came from something or somewhere" could have created the universe. Therefore, logically, God does not have to be "created" in order to "create".

THIS ANSWER IS THE SAME ANSWER I WROTE TO SOMEONE ELSE ABOUT AN HOUR AGO.

As to the big bang being true or not, I don't know. It doesn't really matter. I do know that the speed of the universe after the big bang (if it indeed did happen) has actually been increasing rather than decreasing, which would, in my understanding, go against the concept of the after-effects of an explosion. (Isn't matter supposed to slow down and dissipate?)

Anyway, as I was saying, the big bang doesn't argue for or against the existence of God. I wasn't there during the 7 days of creation (and I do believe that they happened) but why couldn't God have been the initiation of the big bang? To add, maybe it wasn't a bang. Maybe He slowly formed everything and set it on a path of acceleration. Who on this earth knows? None I suppose.

The Bible does say a couple things about God's existence. If you read Exodus 3, God tells Moses to tell the Egyptians that "I AM" has sent him. In Psalms 90, the writer reveals God to be from "everlasting to everlasting".

Here is a big one. Isaiah 44:6 says, "Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: 'I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God."

Men can say what they want, but I've never seen truth greater revealed than in knowing Jesus Christ, not only as Lord and King, but as my friend.

NOTE: If God is who He really says He is, then logically, He would have to be the originator and not have a predecessor.

Whatever begins to exist has a cause.

2. The universe began to exist.

3. Therefore, the universe has a cause.

Given the truth of the two premises, the conclusion necessarily follows.

From the very nature of the case, this cause must be an uncaused, changeless, timeless, and immaterial being which created the universe. It must be uncaused because we've seen that there cannot be an infinite regress of causes. It must be timeless and therefore changeless—at least without the universe—because it created time. Because it also created space, it must transcend space as well and therefore be immaterial, not physical.

The problem is that the human mind can't conceive of a concept without the limiting factor of time. We measure all things by time, God doesn't, and tells us He doesn't. To say "God exists," or "God is," is too profound for mankind because of our intellectual limitations. Even to say, "God was always here," doesn't serve us well because we feel a need to understand that which we are not capable of understanding. I would suggest a book which I think you might find very interesting. It's called "God, the Atom, and the Universe." I don't recall the author's name and the book is out of print, but available on EBay and certain other sites for $10. or less. Basically, it's written by a physicist's who attempts to disprove the existence of God. Very deep - no preaching.

Creation implies that something had a start. Where did your dreams start? You can't put a label on that start. Imagination has always been. It is actually no thing. There is no material in imagination! Image is pure thought.

A collectiveness of all thought is what God was before materialization into life as we witness it here. God divided into life from pure thought, yours and mine and evey thing and non thing's thought. We are all parts of God.

Although I do like some things Jesus did, I am not a Christian perse. We all die for each other's uniquenesses/differences/sins as it were. Jesus sinned, missing the mark...being human , and not being exactly like others amongst his spiritual terror and name calling.

Healing be unto you

No one created God. He is the Creator not the created (we are). He is the beginning and the end. He is, was, and always will be. He created everything out of nothing.

YOUR QUESTION IS ILLOGICAL.

We knw tht universe is expanding with a certain speed..and if this speed was a lil slower everything wudnt have been there..or if it was faster all wud have colapsed.

Now use ur LOGIC...if everything is expanding>>there wud have been a time wen all was as small as a football>> tn it wud have been as small as a dot..AND surely there wud have been a time wen it wud b sme thing with INFINITY Weight and No volume>>this in physics is called "nothingness"!!

Everythign has been created...it is nt just the darwins thery of development.....

And if it is created there is sme POWEr who did it.....So 1st u need to Believe in GOd..Now wen u believe in GOD.....

Thn Who created GOD?? Well..God is tht which cannot b compared to anything(accordign to Islam)...Is u say God is 1 million times powerfull thn this and tht..and cn do much bttr thn this and tht..thn thts nt GOD..GOD is tht which ur MIND can never think about!!!

I hope i was clear in wat i said..:)
