My boyfriend gave me a fabulously expensive bracelet for my 16th. The clasp was slightly dodgy and I told one of my friend this, but then I thought I had fixed it so I was wearing it out with him to cinema when it fell off! Can't find it anywhere...have given up hope...SOOO guilty! Only person who knows is my friend who agreed that it was a terrible pity that the clasp was faulty. I have been out with him since and he did ask where the bracelet was and I was like emmm I decided to wear this necklace instead and it didn't go with it. This happened a month ago. What should I do?? Should I tell him?? Or just fob him off next time he asks?? And if I do should I tell him how it happened. Cos it actually wasn't my fault I wasn't careless with it or anything. So guilty, please help!!

By religious people, I mean Christians, Rosicrucians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus. Do they get taught more things, secret things, than secular people get, and if so, what do they get taught?

God forgives easily through the blood of His Son Jesus Christ, but as humans we sometimes find it hard to forgive ourselves. No one does a better job making us feel guilty, then we ourselves seem to do...

I have always wondered this. But are they luckier because they rely on faith instead of reason to get through life, and sometimes this can allow one to get past things that their reasoning might tell them otherwise?

While I will not express my exact viewpoint on the subject, I was wondering:

The big bang occurs (evolutionists are cheering everywhere) and the universe is created. In the process, an all mighty being is created as well (if something can come from nothing, why not an almighty being). Evolution occurs (stop cheering, you are distracting people from reading the question). Dinosaurs are roaming the earth, etc..

A natural disaster occurs, a meteor strikes, a thick cloud of dust rises from the ground and blackens out the sun. Every living being, plant, etc. dies. (Awww) Maybe some fish survive? (Yeah)

Welcome to the ice age.

Suddenly the almighty being steps in (cheers finally from the Intelligent Design side of the room), clears away the dust, allows the earth to thaw, light re-emerges to the planet after thousands of years. (2001: Space Odessy theme plays).

God creates man (I.D., no mocking the evolutionists). Adam and Eve emerge, and life continues.

Why not?

do you think that most people answer these questions in a truthful way? To the best of their abilities, without prejudice? And how about the questions themselves? The same can be said about some of the questions, don't you think?

People emotional express through eye. Thus, more or less you can judge someone thought through his/her eye expression. How good a pretender might his eye betray him and fail to lie.
In scenario if a friend try to avoid eye contact with you on the street, what is the reason and meaning? Is that mean he or she reject to show his or her friendliness to you ?

The bible says you shouldn't judge others, but christians are the first to judge anyone who doesn't believe the way they do?
Christians are the first to condemn someone's lifestyle if it doesn't agree with them. It seems like they just pick out bible verses that reinforces what they want to think and ignore the rest.

If you say yes, then do you think that your religion is OK. or in another word, why do you think that God create us in Male and Female and the only way to have children is by the ordinary way of relationship between male and female (and without that, there will be not continuation for the human kind).
Or if you say no, then do you think that the idea of being "Gay" is because the excessive thinking in sex.

Ethnic groups such as African Americans and Hispanics are publicly allowed to have parades and organizations specifically according to their race. Imagine a "White entertainment channel" or someone using the catch phrase "the whiter the polar bear, the sweeter the juice" there would be outrage. It just seems a little unfair that white people have to be shy about being proud of their ancestry because they might be called a biggot. Imagine a white scholarship. Just think of a parade exclusively for white ancestry. Every activist group in America would be protesting and it would turn into a riot. Image tuning into the "white starz" channel. Also, why are black comedians allowed to poke fun at whites on their stand-up acts without suffering any flak from either race yet whites are not allowed to do such things without suffering the consequences of people called "racist"

I had an answer deleted merely because I referred to "mohammed" as a Warlord. Atheists and "muslims" and trouble-makers say FAR worse things about the Lord Jesus Christ. And "mohammed" was a Warlord. He led armies in Wars without serving under any sort of a Nation where a term like "General" could apply accurately.

Genesis 6:5-7 is my favorite:
5 The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. 6 The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. 7 So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them."

I am a Christian and I was talking to my friend at work about God and being a Christian the other day as he was pretty interested in various denominations and my views on things.

He kept saying "The Bible & Jesus were invented to control people". as a Christian what do you say in answer to that? I beleive that the Bible is true and was compiled by many people and would be a huge fabrication to big to conceal if it were not true. All I could say is that I have a personal relationship with God & dont feel that it is a fabrication to control people.
Is there a better answer to this? A few people have said it to me now & I dont really have an answer.

Helpful answers only please,
thanks
