I hope so! There's no biblical precedent for this, so many people would disagree.
I've had pets that have been family members, their love helped me through times when joy was scarce in my life-I hope I get to see them again.
BTW, I had a cat I used to call my "prayer buddy", whenever I would be in prayer, whether spoken prayer, or silent, he would come to me, rear up and pat my leg, kind of poking me-he seemed to sense a spiritual peace and would want to be a part of it. I think he sensed the presence of God, which I experienced as peace and joy.
Okay, yes, I know what anthropomorphism means (along with a few other multi-syllabic words.)

I believe Heaven is what you want it to be. As a Spiritualist Medium I spend time showing that after physical death that the soul continues to what we understand as Heaven. This will be different for everyone, depending on what is important to you in this and previous lifetimes.
Animals also go to Heaven and are nurtured and cared for in spirit as they would be on the earth plane by carers. These spirit individuals would have cared for animals when they too walked the earth and their caring continues.
Animals cannot communicate with mediums, but very often when giving a reading an animal that the sitter has loved and has passed on to the afterlife will come forward. I can accurately describe the pet, even down to personality.
Every animal lover who has lost a pet at times may glance up and be convinced that they were on their favourite seat or in the garden. This is their way of making their presence known and offering comfort to the individual.
As well as our guides/helpers meeting us when we shed our physical bodies I believe our pets may also help us to make the transition back to spirit.
I suppose this is a difficult question to answer as none of us will truely know until the day we pass. All I know is that Spiritualism is the only religion (and I say Religion loosely) that can prove the existance of life after physical death.
I hope this helps in Love and light.

Nowhere does Scripture explicitly state that animals do not have souls...There is nothing in Scripture I know of that would preclude the possibility of animals' continued existence...The Bible does give us some reason to hope that departed animals will be restored. We read in the Bible that redemption is a cosmic matter. The whole creation is destined to be redeemed through the work of Christ (Romans 8:21), and we see the images of what heaven will be like; beautiful passages of Scripture tell us about the lion and lamb and other animals being at peace with one another.(Isaiah 11:6-8). Whenever heaven is described, though it may be in highly imaginative language, it is a place where animals seem to be present. Whether these are animals newly created for the new heavens and the new earth, or they are the redeemed souls of our pets that have perished, we can't know for sure.

If you believe in heaven then yes all animals, including bacteria, must go to heaven.

This is because all living creatures on planet earth evolved from the same place.

Therefore if man has a soul and can go to heaven then so must all animals on this planet.

As such all meat eaters are guilty of murder.

First of all to those idiots who say that heaven doesn't exist
I say : If heaven dosen't exist then why are u living - do u think that bad and good people will be equal at the end go to nowhere
Secondly : Animals wont go to heaven or hill because they have no brain so they dont think so they are not free willed so they won't be punished for their acts

If heaven existed then pets would come along (as a part of bliss) as heaven is for humans. Remember animals were sacrificed in the Bible at times so its unlikely any unvalued animal will attend.

I don't believe in heaven, but if there is one, then yes I think they do go to heaven. Humans are animals, more specifically mammals, too.

No.

If you look at it logically, the most basic prerequisite for animals to go to Heaven is that Heaven exists. As Heaven does not exist, I must conclude that animals do not go there.

I believe my pets are safe and happy in an afterlife or reincarnated. We will only know for sure when we leave this world ourselves.
